PART FIVE!! *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Aww, poor baby. Hope her recovery goes quickly and she's up & doing her doggie thing soon :goodvibes:

Thanks! Her doggie thing is not that different from what she's doing now- I told the vet she's the world's biggest doorstop. She's always been that way.

Haha should I clarify PAP? Premium annual... And the disappointing part for you ladies... Pass :) I'm upgrading mine in the parks at some point..

Currently relaxing in my villa at AKL-- DH passed out, dd1 out... dd3 out.... Me wide awake and I got the least amount of sleep!! I must have the fever :) Disney Fevah!

So we ate at Sanaa... Delish!! So my kind of food I highly recommend it. DD3 loved all the animals outside, DD1 found this grassy area and was ready to nap in it. Service was great (a little slow at first but server acknowledged and apologized and more than made up for it...)

Excellent! We were just discussing Sanaa last night. Definitely looking forward to it.

Ok today! Exhausting but awesome! Love AKL and all the animals. Dinner at Boma was delish! I wanted to get pics of the decorations at night but I feel like complete junk. Hopefully a visit to Walgreens gets me in the right direction. Sorta worried I have bronchitis. :(

Xmas at AKL!!

Totally weird question about Boma - does everything have green peppers in it? I read a review once that said everything had green peppers. We're very adventurous eaters but green peppers are the one thing DH can't stand. So I've been nervous about that.

Hope you're feeling better.

I am totally confused on the FP+. I was able to input my DME reservation number and it let me set them up! So now I have the thing filled out.....now what do i do with it? Do we print something? :confused3

:yay:

I hope you get the right drugs to get better! I love the pictures.....so exciting to see real evidence!

That's awesome. Now you just need the physical plastic cards. If you don't get them before the trip you should be able to get them at Guest Relations. If I don't get my second set in today's mail I'll call and confirm where I can get them.

FAQs from the FP+ website that are relevant to the discussion going on here:

Great. I as worried I'd have to go to DME to get my missing cards. :)

Thanks. I totally missed the FAQ.

I didn't know where else to put this. Sorry. I need help deciding how to pack. We are there the 11-17. I am a hot box so I will be fine in short sleeves and capris. Do you put your kids in shorts or jeans ? I know to prob expect low 70s but here in Ohio where it is 30 degrees I can't relate. Does it feel hotter than a normal 73ish? Most of my dds shirts that are disney themed are long sleeves. I am afraid DH will be hot.

I'll be in jeans and t-shirts. I'll likely want a long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt in the evening but Im always cold. dS will mostly be in pants and short-sleeves. Im sure DH will be in shorts. He's never cold.

We had DS birthday party yesterday afternoon. He turns 4 on Wednesday. He got a talking Darth Vader mask and loves it! I afraid that he may agree to go over to the Dark Side during JTA.:)

I saw that happen once. The CMs are prepared for it. It was super cute!

So last night after we straightened out the FPs, DH asked to see the whole schedule. I always consult him on the details but he never pays attention to the whole schedule until the end. That's how I know it's close. ;)

So we went over it and he says, "I don't understand this day. It looks like we don't have anything planned until evening." We'll, yeah - that's what makes this trip so great. So much time to just do whatever we want. :)

So nothing on my agenda for the next two days except finishing prepping and packing. I slept in a bit then spent an hour catching up on this thread. But that's part of trip planning, right? ;)

Layers hun!! Everyone's idea of cold/hot is very different but the one thing about weather down here (I'm in GA) is the night/day difference in temperature. It has been 70's during the day and quite hot when in direct sunlight but the in the evening, the temp goes down to about 45 (could be lower) and no direct sun so, although that won't be "cold" to you, your body will feel that big difference. Don't forget, all parks have lockers - we're getting one and shoving warmer stuff in it as we'll be staying into the evening. Heres a link for locker info LOCKERS

So exciting herring from everyone at WDW!!! A little over 24 hours and we'll be on our way and I'm no where near ready. At least since we are driving I can just throw stuff in the car.

:lmao: A girl after my own heart! I haven't packed a thing and I know I'll be chucking carrier bags full of stuff into the car minutes before we go HA!

How very nice of you to give this pooch a home. All of my animals have been strays or taken in from people who can't keep them, and they've been the best pets. If you end up keeping him (all of our attempts to find owners were never successful) just be mindful he may have separation anxiety problems- our dog ran away a couple of times trying to get back to her old home initially, then once she became attached to us could be very destructive whenever we left her anywhere but our home- including the car. She got over it eventually.

Thank you for the advice, much appreciated :goodvibes

Thank you for taking in the dog and taking care of him. There are people out there who wouldn't be so nice. :hugs: I used to run a ferret rescue and the horror stories out there are terrible.

I'm here chuckling to myself, your house sounds like mine when I was with the ex. 2 dogs, 5 cats, 5 rabbits, 3 chinchillas, 2 guinea pigs and the odd anole every now and then.

I'm glad he chose a safe house to come to.

Yep, our 'zoo' has grown because of irresponsible owners :sad2: 2 of our parakeets were "easter" gifts for 2 little girls who found them boring - they were kept downstairs in a basement, in the dark and were never visited :( I know the family so, I basically confiscated them. I just went round there, picked the cage up and said "I'm taking them home" .... they didn't protest. I bought another 2 so that they had friends as parakeets are very sociable. One of cats is a stray, he just moved in, we had no choice lol. And the rabbits were, again, gifts for the SAME 2 girls ..... needless to say I confiscated those too .... yep, I've banned them from getting any more pets. I told them to at least ask me first to make sure its an animal I want as I will inevitably end up with it!

While we're on the subject of pets, here's the big girl just home from the hospital:

Awww poor baby, I hope she recovers well!
