Part Exchange Process?

Were looking to move house in the next year hopefully.

There is a new estate that we really like and they online on the last phase of the development, I want to find out of interest how much we would get for part exchange, do we have to pay valuation fees for this to be done?

I'm expecting we will put our house up for sale in the new year, but figure there is no harm seeing how we go with a part exchange valuation

I don't think you have to pay anything. My friend looked into this last year & the building company said that if she went that way she would have to move out of her house if they sold it before the new one was ready. This put her off, I think it varies from builders to what terms they have. Some also tend to offer less then what its worth.
