I was wondering how many of your wore Tropical clothes in there? Did most people just wear casual clothes? If I convince my husband to wear his new tropical shirt (would never wear it at home) and he is one of only a few he would NOT be happy!

If you are on the Magic, you will want to check which "theme night" it is. If it's formal or Semi FOrmal night, you will want to dress appropratly. If it's tropcial or pirates or mexicalli.. night you will want to dress in the tropical shirt. If it's a "regular" menu night, DH will want to wear a polo and slacks.

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about - I picked up a tropical shirt for DH on sale near the end of summer for our 9/9 Wonder and he just gave me this look when I showed it to him. However, I wore something similar, we both wore black slacks, and it worked out great. (Of course, there is no theme you have to worry about on the Wonder.) But I thought our tropical stuff went really well with the calypso-ish band that was playing, plus the Limbo, of course.

Hubby and I both went "tropical" on the Wonder - matching clothing to dining room. Obviously, not everyone did, but I don't think we were alone.

The servers are definately tropically attired (except, of course, on formal night - when they are formal as well).

I thought DH would cringe at tropical attire, but about two weeks before our cruise he practically bought en entirely new wardrobe, tropical shirt included. He loved that we were all dressed appropriately. We were on the Magic and our tropical night was in AP.

Anyway, be careful where you buy, I saw four other guys wearing the same shirt from Penny's and there was another woman wearing the same dress I did.

We went to a tropical themed party later this past Spring, so our clothes did double duty.

Have a great time.

We had the APL dinner rotation, so were in Parrot Cay on our second night. I would say folks in the dining room were dressed more in a tropical theme. My group had on tropical printed dresses, skirts and shirts. We did not feel out of place.

We are going on the 11/13 Magic and DH has several tropical shirts packed to wear for dinners, even outside of PC. Our family, 7 of us, have all matching tropical for PC night. But then, we are from Southern California and we all wear tropical even to church!!:teeth:
