parksavers vs mousesavers/undercover tourist

I have purchased 1 Parksaver and 1 Boardwalk ticketing 4+3 days park hopper ticket... Both of them are linked to my MDE account and you could see an expiry date of 2030 when you try to "assign" to someone in your MDE account, just create a dummy friend with no actual MDE account... Assign the ticket there n they will show 2030 expiry to check.
Awesome! Thanks!!

Question:

if i only need to buy a child's ticket...it asks for "person redeeming ticket" ...that required photo ID. Should i put my name in there (adult paying and with ID)? or child with no id?

Put down the person who will be picking up the tickets at WDW.
If you will not actually be picking up tickets (i.e., you are all using MagicBands) then it simply doesn't matter what name you put in for the "person redeeming ticket."

Bought the Parksavers tickets for our party of 5 for an October trip, within days had them assigned in MDE. DH and I took a quick trip in May and upgraded ours to AP's with no issues, and were charged what I expected based on bridging. Easy-peas. No need to pick up actual tickets if they are loaded to MDE.

I just bought a 7 day park hopper from Boardwalk Ticketing through a TouringPlans link for $379.64. The process was very smooth and the tickets are already loaded on my Disney account and ready to use.

Where was the link on Touring PLans. I'd love to try and find the $379 price.....

Are both parksavers and boardwalk ticketing all inclusive in price (tax and shipping?) like UT does or do they add that on at checkout? Just trying to get an idea of actual price.

Parksavers and Boardwalkticketing prices include tax.

I don't know about shipping, but if you just get the ticket numbers via email, you don't need the tickets to be shipped.
(You can pick them up at WDW, if you need them at all.)

Hi, probably silly question, but I went to Park Savers to look at the deal. What is the "Redemption Date"? Is that the first day that I plan to use to tickets? For example, if I want to buy the tickets today for my October trip, so I am ready to start booking my FP+ next week, I put in the box "Redemption Date" the day I plan to first use the tickets, and then to upgrade to AP, it will be good for a year from that first day? Hope that was clear, thanks.

1. Don't worry about the date.
2. It would be the date that you "pick up" tickets, if you are not using a MagicBand.
Go to any ticket booth, show legal ID and your PS code and the CM can issue you regular plastic tickets... if you want them.
3. You can. But, it's just not a thing to worry about.
That date has nothing whatever to do with upgrading to AP, or not.

ParkSavers does not issue tickets.
Disney issues the tickets purchased through ParkSavers.
Regular "WDW Magic Your Way tickets."
After that, you can use them in any way you can use any other regular WDW Magic Your Way tickets.
If you are using MagicBands, you don't ever have to actually pick up any tickets.

OK, so this is the first time we've bought tix thru a reseller. We usually order AP's thru DVC. Our last AP's were expiring 7/25 and we have a trip planned in Sept. so in order to be able to make FP+ res. at 60 days this time tho I ordered (3) 7-day hoppers thru parksavers.com rather than renewing our AP's - thinking that we would just upgrade to the DVC Gold pass in Sept. I figured this way we could "save" the 2 months from July 25 to Sept 17th and extend our next exp. date from July exp. to Sept. exp. which would be helpful for NEXT summer to not be so restricted. (It was only going to be $8 more to do it this way rather than just renewing @ the DVC rate.)

But so ANYWAY, so here's my question and where I'm confused (it doesn't take much to confuse me).:confused3 Parksavers sent us codes to use for the hoppers which I entered into MDE so I could book our FP's. But now I don't have any physical tix. It's all online? How exactly do I upgrade to the AP's? What do I bring with me to Guest Relations or whatever in order do that? Do I print out the email from parksavers with the codes and bring that or do they just read our magic bands at the gate and use the bands for the upgrade? Just not used to not having that physical AP card so I don't quite grasp HOW the upgrade happens.

TIA for helping me understand...

All you'll need are your Magic Bands. Your tickets are loaded and linked there so they can just upgrade you by scanning them.

Is there somewhere that Disney says who their authorized resellers are? Or does it say it on the Parksavers website? I keep looking for information on their site like "Who we are" or something but it's very much just a place where they sell tickets. Not that I don't believe all the people here on the disboards because that's really all the assurance I need, but how do you guys vet this type of website?

There are listings of the authorized resellers that Cast Members can read.
PS is one of them.

ALSO:

ParkSavers is one of the most popular WDW ticket resellers, in general.

toruingplans.com is one the THE most-used Disney planning sites (for years and years) and they offer
ticket information, too.

Here is a current quote from their site.

"Every day we check the Disney World ticket prices at Disney and the most popular authorized Disney ticket discount wholesalers: Undercover Tourist, The Official Ticket Center, Kissimmee Guest Services, Maple Leaf Tickets, Orlando Fun Tickets, and ParkSavers.com."

Thanks Robo! You always have the answers.

So I'm curious.....still debating to take the parksavers route. If I did this, let's say entering a date of November 2016 but I wouldn't actually be using the tickets until November 2017 or even 2018, would there be something in writing that would say tickets valid until 2030 (or whatever the future date)? Just overly cautious I guess but I don't want to lose out if I don't go before its initial expiration date.

ETA: or BT route

I've always bought tickets directly from Disney because I figured it was just easier but it sounds like this is very simple. I'm curious what the savings typically is for a family of 5 (4 adults & 1 child) for 5 day tickets (non-hopper). Thanks for your help!!!
