Parksavers tix, quick question

I am not seeing that deal- can someone help? I was just going to book the 5 day ( with 2 free) but came here because its asking for the actual date. Wanted to ask what if we activate the next day....?

I see it now- we are wanting the water park option so I was looking at that, which isn't the best deal.

But if someone could help me understand the date thing I would appreciate it!
What do you mean by "the date thing"?

Its asking me to put in a redemption date
If you plan to pick up your tickets using the voucher they will email to you, then you need a date. The voucher will expire on whatever date is shown.
If you plan to link the ticket code that is emailed to you in to your MDE account and use MB then the date is meaningless

What if we aren't there that first date- due to weather or something else happening....we won't be able to get the ticket any other day?

No, sorry, I wasn't clear.
The voucher will have an expiration date on it, I think the current ones are 12/2016. If you aren't there before that expiration date you can't pick up tickets.
The date of use doesn't matter

Great-thanks so much for taking the time to help me out.
I've never used them before and was wondering if their dates needed to be exact like Disney Youth tickets.

I just ordered tickets through them and am having trouble linking to MDE. They sent me Expedia ticket vouchers and there are 3 possible ticket numbers and I've tried them all. anyone have an issue?

Have a great trip!

Expedia is a pain in the rear because they don't usually give a "Disney confirmation number" - generally 4 letters, 8 numbers. When someone brings me Expedia confirmations at the ticket windows, I have to look them up in a really roundabout way in order to find that information.

I think (emphasis on think) that you can contact them and ask them for the Disney confirmation number.

i just reread the email and I should get a disney confirmation number in a few days...lol sorry I was very eager to link them! thanks for the suggestions though!

Yes, i was about to say that. When you get the ticket to link to MDE they are very clear which number you use to link.

I was considering purchasing a PAP for my next trip. If I bought this deal at Parksavers, would they be bridged if I use them first, and if so at what price? (assuming I buy the 4 day/3 free ticket)

Yes, Parksavers Magic Your Way tickets can be price-bridged.
What you actually PAY for the discounted ticket does not matter.

Since there is no such thing as a ticket with "Buy 4 days, get 3 days free..."
That would just be a regular 7 day ticket (with a discounted price.)

So, you would subtract the new, at the gate cost of a 7-day ticket from the new, at the gate cost of a PAP,
and you would pay that difference amount (plus tax) for the PAP.

You can use the Parksavers ticket to enter a theme park before upgrading, if you like,
but it is not necessary.

I wish there was a way to do the upgrade online!

Me too but for us it means a trip to Disney to renew our passes!
DH's pass has to be renewed by 6/20 so we are going down for a few days before that to renew his pass, and so happens to coincide with the new stuff starting so we'll get to check out that too

Thank you Robo! It seems like the 7 day (buy 4, get 3 free) is the best option to make the best use of bridging. Does anyone know of a better option? TIA

I've been going back and forth on whether to renew my AP (expired 5/8 so window is closing). next trip isn't until December though so my plan was just to buy a new AP and start it for that trip. I just can't fit anything in until December to make renewing worth it. I'm thinking these park savers tickets will be the best savings on AP's (I calculate a $54 savings from the military AP which is 774). And only $43 in "wasted" money by not renewing...so not too bad.
