I like some of Granny’s titles...espically the “WDW Minutia” (sp?)...pretty good stuff...
I’m getting excited about this project!!! This could be big...

Madonna...you solved another problem...I was wondering how to put this thing together...

Anyway...I need to get back and pretend to work now...Mrs.A, I’m jealous, your job doesn’t sound bad too me..I would love to work for a magazine...getting burned out on the weekly newspaper reporting gig...If you ever need someone to telecommute from Maine....let me know...

I only forsee one problem with putting pictures in the book...Disney may own the copyright to the images (even if you took the pictures yourself)...that may be something we need to look into...

Hey all. Heres a couple of thoughts i had.
1) i think your right about the images higgs. thats probably why the 'unofficial' guide doesnt use them.
2) lets break the threads up and assign whomever wants them a certain number of pages to put into word format. i would be glad to do a bunch of them. that way one person doesnt have to do all of it. along with this would be compiling a database of questions/answers. we probably could verify most of them with the multitude of guide books/web pages that are already out there or personal visits (my favorite )

i will do anything i can to help just holler.

LOL MBabe! I think this group needs professional help, not self help!

We'll just keep the creative title ideas coming. I also like the "......Whimsical Look at WDW Minutia" (how the heck do you spell that word?), but it seems that the number 71 should be in there somewhere....after all, we certainly give the Imagineers a hard time about not including it into their efforts!

And it's nice to know we already have a sequel book concept in place: "An Insiders' Look at WDW Water!" or "The Fantasmic Waters of WDW" or "The Watered Down Version of WDW" or ..............stop me please since I've gotten off topic!

RJay, thanks a bunch for offering to help. If you want, how about you start at the beginning of the Part Deux thread. We can let each other know where we are every few days to make sure we don't do double work. Let me know if this is OK.

By the way, the two things I am not copying into the word document is all of the "fluff" we put in our signatures, and the graphics, such as Smilies and pictures. Hope this is OK with everyone. I am maintaining all of the dates and times of the posts and all of the information about each person in the upper left corner of the posts (name, location, # of posts, etc.).

What can I do? I'm terrific at organization and categorization and using words with "-ization."
No fluff - but what if we could put at the end an index of the posters with maybe some of their quotes or whatever fluff we collectively see fit? (a sort of "who's who?")

What I meant by fluff is the things in our signatures, like how many trips we have made, etc. I am copying all of the conversations, whether they are related to the questions or not. I mentioned to StormAlongBay last night that we should definitely maintain the conversations in between the questions, because that is half the fun of the thread. A great example was all the talk about the "Love Shack" .

Ksdave - I'm familiar with the bottom-of-the-page fluff... do you mean that someone should be in charge of the Biography (fluff stuff) section? That would be a lovely job, and if no one objects, I could do that. Then, everyone could send me exactly what they want under their listing.
Granted, this is all dependent upon whether you guys think it necessary. IMHO, it would add to the humor of the offbeat things we say in our posts that you are already including in the main document.
SAB - I wouldn't know where to begin on a web version....

That would be great if you could do that. I think it would also be good if we noted when each person made their first post to the threads and, maybe, how many posts they have made as of a common date. For the people who are contributing to our effort we could add a little more information. Maybe even add some stories of our own previous trips and such.

Hey..I’m going to start to try to pull an intro together...and hopefully give the book part of this project some concrete direction...the end of summer is a busy time for me...so I haven’t had as much time to work on this as I would like...but I am trying to make more time...

Anyone have any ideas on how this should be organized...I'm thinking one section for each of the parks, and another for other misc. stuff...

Any other ideas?
