I don't believe we've met :)... nice to have new faces around here.

Thank you so much for the friendly hello, MickeyBabe!

Higgs22 >>> In the HISTA preshow.... A neverending line of crayons are pictured... what brand are they?
Rose Art? That's the only brand name I know other than Crayola.

Hey Walt...we already had a guess on my TTA question...Granny got it with one mile flat! :)

MBabe...judging from the song in the preshow...are they "True Colors" crayons?

higgs, thx!. I realized that the answer had been posted so I deleted my second guess!

I don't have a clue on mbabe's question....

Yes Polk.... Rose Art is the Brand of crayons pictured :)

Big Purple crayon AAQ card to Polk.... You're up....

Big Purple crayon AAQ card to Polk
After I answered I remembered being struck by the fact that they weren't Crayola. I can't get my DW into HISTA very often. Something about those scurrying critters.;)

How about another visual. Might be a *little* tougher. But I'm sure it'll strike somebody quickly. What is this a picture of? Hint1: It's not always viewable. Hint2: But that's not because it's seasonal. (It's not.]

Hint3: It's big! If I were in that picture, I'd fill up only half the height of the picture. [We won't talk about how much I'd fill width-wise.]

still can't come up with even a wrong answer guys and dolls so anyone for fresh baked toll-house cookies? I'll leave the plate just in case :-)

You mean there is another brand of crayons other than Crayola?

As far as CMs on Hollywood Blvd, I'll guess

Autograph Hounds/Seekers
Actors/Actresses
Performers
I have no clue

For the picture, the only thing I can think of, judging from its irregular shape (and I'm sure I'm wrong, so why am I even bothering) is it's the reult of the cannon blasting a wall in Muppetvision 3-D?

Ding Ding Ding ... Kim Possible gets the answer ... CMs who work on Hollywood Blvd. as journalists, starlets and the like are called Streetmosphere characters:)

Thanks for the cookies Pintrader ... hope someone has some milk;)

gometros >>> ... judging from its irregular shape ... is it's the reult of the cannon blasting a wall in Muppetvision 3-D?
Good guess. But not correct. I'm afraid the picture might be a little too obscure. I didn't want to show *too* much and make it a gimme.

So, since I might be out in left field, I'll add a little more in the way of hints.

What is this a picture of?
Hint1: It's not always viewable.
Hint2: But that's not because it's seasonal. (It's not.)
Hint3: It's big! If I were in that picture, I'd fill up only half the height of the picture.
Hint4: It's very suited to being a "Where is the World?" question.
Hint5: I might've said the picture is obscure, but that's only because of what's actually being given away by the picture. The actual "subject" shown in the picture would likely be quickly and easily recognized by anyone following this thread [unless you've never been to WDW].
Hint6: It's not a seasonal "thing" at WDW. But it does have a seasonal aspect.
Hint7: The "subject" of this photo is not stationery. But you'd think of it as such. [Then again, the world's technically not stationery. So, I'm not sure how much of a hint this is.]

Woops, I said "Where Is the World?"? I meant "Where In the World", of course.

Oh this is an excellent question, Polk. Ok I have a question...as we see it here, is that it's natural orientation. In other words, it's not upside down is it?

That looks like the muppetvision walls that appear and dissappear in the cannonball sequence in the grande finale'
:)
love those muppets

wdwoldtimer >>> ... as we see it here, is that it's natural orientation. In other words, it's not upside down is it?
It's right-side up. Or up-side up. Take your pick. It's in the orientation you'd normally see it.

I have an AAQ to give so here goes.

As you walk into MGM there are 2 billboards over "the darkroom". The darkroom is the Kodak center. What are they advertising?

polk, it sort of looks like a piece of the Illuminations globe...like when it's showing the Earth on it.

oh I like that answer oldtimer. It kinda does. More than I came up with :-):D

One more HINT ... the picture *is* in color. The actual color of the "subject" is slightly darker than what appears in the picture. The bright white area you see in the picture is actually the background and is not part of the "subject" itself. I had to lighten to picture a little to get the "texture" to show up a little. That caused the background to lighten up as well.
wdwoldtimer >>> it sort of looks like a piece of the Illuminations globe...like when it's showing the Earth on it.
Eureka! A global AAQ to wdwoldtimer! I had typed that extra hint and saw your answer while previewing my reply.

Here's the whole picture, which is a little bright because of the sun in the background. The globe is on its way out to the center of the lake. Note the relative size of the boat driver.
