Could it be Maelstrom?

:smooth:

Thanks!!! I'll cash that one in for this question:

Name three WDW attractions where you can find Bill Nye the Science Guy. For bonus points, name a fourth, former attraction that used Bill Nye.

Universe of Energy, Innoventions, Journey into your Imagination, Honey I shrunk Audience?

Old attraction: Communicore?

Auntie MK...... Beautiful :)

Did you get her the obligatory tee shirt saying....

"If you think I'm cute, You should see my Aunt MK"

Have a wonderful Birthday tomorrow... I'm sure I will be arriving way after you have gone home :)

Have a Dole Whip and think of it being handed to you by your favorite DW Wench :p

I'll be thinking of you while I am in HM on Sunday afternoon ;)

Welcome foolish mortals.....
:smooth:
Great Idea for a shirt MBabe! :)
You have a great time too...it will be COLD there. :(

Bill Nye the Science Guy....he's at Dinosaur in the queue line I think.

MBabe and Carpe....have wonderful trips and come back with lots of stumpers!!:)

MK.... well it is at least 30 degrees warmer there than here.. so I'll take it any time ;)... I promise to have a wonderful time :)

Thanks Granny... I'll take notes :p

I'll leave some Bailey's for you all to keep warm while I'm away..

14 hours until we head for the airport... 18 hours to take off....21 hours until we step onto WDW property :bounce:

Ocean.... Was Bill Nye in the Astuter Computer Review? He also had his own show opened 7/1/94 in Innoventions West, moved to Innoventions East, closed 6/1/99 .

:smooth:

jwill, is the sand bar at Carribbean Beach?

And Kim, thanks for including me on your PG primer. Y'all have just been so welcoming and great. Of course, I wouldn't expect any less from great Disney enthusiasts!

Good morning all! A bit chilly this a.m. - minus 22 in my part of the chalk circle.

Ozzel - just read your PGP. A truly amazing recap and tribute to this amazing phenomenon. Thanks for getting it together. And although I must agree that tutu-wearing 'possums are beyond all explanation, it's a shame there's no reference point for those not in-the-know. Those were some funny spontaneous times here on the PG threads. Shows just how out of hand things can get when no one is watching!

Keeping on topic - BON VOYAGE is the last phase you hear as you proceed to the movie from the pre-show area in France.

Hi OT

:sunny: Good morning CCers :sunny: Sorry I was MIA but we sold our house here in PA in 5 days and I missed like 20 pages ... all of which I read ... Dole Whiparita mimosas all around:)

And we also need to congratulate Kim on the PG Primer, MK on the birth of her niece, Carpe on the trip to the world and of course a big old CC send off to MBabe who is in the REAL World;)

In order to live up to my description in the PG Primer ...

Where can you find a "mouse trap?"

Hey all...pass me a hot chocolate....it is coooollllldddd here in Maine...minus 10 when I got up this morning :)...oh well...now I am officiall jealous about MBabe's Florida trip...Maine winters...YUCK!

Anyway...enough complaining.....looking at the open questions...I have no real idea about Bill Nye other than Universe of Energy and Dinosaur....

and...DJen (congrats on selling the house BTW :D)...can you find a mouse trap in Mickey's house in Toontown?

DisneyJen hands Higgsi a hot coco in an offical CC mug ... Thanks for the good wishes Higgsi;)

Good guess on the location of the "mouse trap" but you don't find it in Mickey's house in Toon Town.

Do we have any extra fleece lined ponchos? Sure is cold here today:wave:

Good morning all, breakafast is served.

Disneyjen: Congratulations on selling your house.

Mickeybabe: Have a great trip today.

Mouse trap: Disney's Magnolia Golf Course?

recapping my question. Where in WDW can you find the Sand Bar?
B'rer Karen: Not at the Carribean Beach.

The Mouse Trap...DUH...should have known it was a golf course....

I'll second jwill.....

Thanks for the cocoa DJen...hit the spot :)

jwill is the Sand Bar at the Polynesian?

Hmmmmmmm . . . I'm beginning to think this wasn't a good question to ask. People are suggesting a couple of answers that I wasn't aware of. I guess I'll have to fall back on the "my question - my answer" rule. Let me throw out a few hints.

Jwill, you were very close with one of your guesses. Update one of your attractions a few years, and you'll have a piece of the puzzle. Granny got a piece of the puzzle. Mickeybabe, sorry, but I haven't heard of the Astuter Computer Review, and I also didn't know that he had an Innoventions show. (That's why I'm starting to think that this was a bad question: there seem to be some potential correct answers of which I was unaware.) One more hint . . . the bonus points part is a trick question. Don't think too hard about it: someome has already hinted at the answer.

Sorry I didn't think this one through carefully enough. Let me know if I need to throw out some more hints.

YIKES!! I slipped away a week and missed the last half of the 90 pages sitting out there! I hope I didn't lose my welcome. [I've gotta do something about that darn job! Maybe I can file workmen's comp ... they keep making me work! Not fair!]
But the reason is a good one. I'm headed to WDW next week. Can't wait! Been having to double up on the real life job to get ready to be gone.
Too much to comment on in the 40+ pages I missed. Thanks to Ozzel for the history/terminology lesson!

And pintrader => I *REALLY* liked the man in the moon question. There are lots of questions in taht 40 pages that I wouldn't have had a chance at guessing. But I'd have got that one pretty quick. That's one of the first things that really struck me on the new Imagination trip. It jumped out at me, even without the rocket in his eye!
jwill: Where in WDW can you find the Sand Bar?
Is that a snack bar in the Contemporary?
DisneyJen: Where can you find a "mouse trap?"
Isn't there a mouse trap in the Honey I Shrunk the Audience show? Just after the mice start running loose?

A welcome back AAQ card to polk. The Sand Bar can be found at the Contemporary.

Ocean: Ellens Energy Adventure?
Can you let us know which answers were wrong so far?

Yes, Ellen's Energy Adventure is the first one. Granny said that he is also in the queue for Dinosaur. That's the second one. Just one more now! And remember, the bonus points are for a trick question. ;)
