Excellent MrsA! you knocked that one right out of the ballpark!
I love that song for some reason. :p
A banana shaped AAQ to you.

I'm going to cash in one of my reserve AAQs to help get some fresh questions out there.

At the poacher camp in the Kiliminjaro Safaris, there is a cast member that tells the party that "Little Red is okay". What is the CM holding in his/her hand and what was he/she holding when the safari first opened?

AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sorry…going crazy here…needed to scream…

gometros….is the CM holding a radio?
And when it first opened, I think they were holding a rifle…since discarded due to sensitivity about guns…
(but that is a total guess….)

Taking a guess. Is he holding a radio now and before was he holding a gun?

Gometros - Lemme guess - they're holding a clipboard now and they used to hold a gun?
-MrsAPalm

Gometros - Lemme guess - they're holding a Dole Whip now and they used to hold a gun?

:p

Elephant sized AAQ to Higgs and jwills for guessing that the CM now holds a walkie-talkie and used t hold a rifle. I thought that would be a little bit of a challenge.

Edited to note that granny should suggest that change to Disney Imagineering :)

Yikes!! I go to bed and go to work and look what happens! I'm sorry I didn't get back fast enough. I'll never sleep or go to work again!! Please don't kick me out of the Chalk Circle!!

A tiara shaped AAQ card to Higgs22, Granny, and Mickey Babe. The number four is IIII instead of IV on the clock. The story I heard was that it was somehow related to the way the numerals were manufactured and shipped. Or maybe the I's were cheaper :)

Okay, time for my newbie question...What's a shacky?

Now I'm off to catch up on all the fun I missed!

gometros...the Parks Game Thread creative staff have made numerous suggestions to the imagineers this past year (mostly to better utilize the Number 71), but alas, they don't seem to care much for our suggestions.

We just thought they could tighten up their theming a little, that's all.

I especially liked the concept of the 71-day Park Hopper pass! :p

Oh...and for any open questions, I'll guess.........71

One last question before I go….yes…another compare and contrast…
What do all of these three WDW rides have in common?
Tower of Terror, Test Track, Splash Mountain?

]and since I’m feeling generous I will say that speed has nothing to do with the answer…

good luck :p

Karen....our thread historian, MBabe (yes, she's our Dole Whip Wench too!) has a very nice summary of the Shacky which I hereby reprint without the expressed written consent of Princess MickeyBabe:

The History of the Shacky....

Once upon a time in a thread far far away......

A question was asked by amandadaddy to the "Parks Game... Let's Play" players....

"...in one of the parks there is what can only be described as a guard station, which park is it in and where is it located?....extra credit - describe the contents!"

The question and it's bonus spanned 9 days and 6 pages, eluding the very wise players.

During this time the shack was christened the "Love Shack" by madonna and has henceforth been referred to as such.

The question was eventually answered by wdwoldtimer and the bonus finished up by higgs22.

From this time on questions that were very difficult were compared to the "Love Shack".

At this point our story moves into the "Parks Game Part Deux: Let's Play more" where on 7-19-02 madonna asked the question...

Where in WDW have you heard the phrase"As long as they pay me, I'm pretty happy."?

This question lasted 4 days and 5 pages, once again eluding the players.

Her question was eventually answered by Higgs22.

At this time Higgs nominated and Granny seconded the nomination of madonna for a "Love Shack" achievement award.... affectionately known as a "Shacky"(given this name by our wise old Granny)

And forevermore the "Shacky" has signified excellence in PG Trivia lore...... and they played Happily Ever After....

Good evening fellow CCers (chalk circlers) ... is it happy hour here in the CC? MBabe please make mine a double ... DH is leaving Newark as we speak for a flight to Amsterdam and then Sweden where he will spend the week:rolleyes: DD and I are doing "homework" ... so after doing some research I am going to turn in an oldie AAQ so we have a question to chew on during our happy hour;) Hey Jwill can you stop and get us some wings from ESPN? Even though there is no Monday Night Football I think we could all use a treat;)

Name the three shows and their ending dates that ran in the space occupied by Timekepper

Hello everyone. I was just wondering how everyone is progressing in Kingdom Hearts, I finally beat it last night. I still have a lot of the secrets to unlock though.

Name the three shows and their ending dates that ran in the space occupied by Timekepper

America the Beautiful - March 15, 1974
Magic Carpet 'Round the World - September 15, 1984
American Journeys - January 9, 1994

What do all of these three WDW rides have in common?
Tower of Terror, Test Track, Splash Mountain?

My wife won't ride them.

Seriously, they all have an outdoor component to them?

Jen....I think our DW Wench is MIA, so here's a Whiparita to hold you over until her return (she does a great job of stocking the CC magic cooler!).

Distriv....my DD's finally let me start KH this past weekend. Needless to say, I'm hopeless!

And Jen, I'll guess Captain EO.....not because I think it's a good answer, but because I'm trying to keep myself honest by keeping the game moving along! ;)

ToT, Test Track, Splash mountain. Can I take two guesses?

They all were over budget or they all opened later than their original opening dates?

disneyjen: Wings are on the way, I think the Flyers are on tonight so that will give us our monday night sports fix.

Thanks for the wings Jwill and the Dole Whiparita Granny;) Let's move the CC on over to ESPN for awhile so we can catch those Fly Boys;)

And who will be named the interim Dole Whip Wench when our beloved MBabe heads to the REAL CC

A Nine-Eye AAQ to Sandy/Gometros:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Sure is a quiet evening here in the CC. Guess everyone is watching the American Music Award;) Or maybe staking out the perfect spot for IllumiNations;) JWill and I are going to hang here in the ESPN CC for awhile.

Turning in an AAQ to pass the time ...

How much does Spaceship Earth weigh?

Is it 16 million lbs.?

Flyers may still come back yet.

Should we send out for Pizza also?

Hmm what do Test Track, ToT, and Splash Mountain all have in common....they're three of my favorite rides? No? Okay, I second whoever it was that said they all have outside elements.

As for the weight of Spaceship Earth...I really have no clue so I'll just go with 10 million pounds.

And jwill, can I get in on that pizza? This diet is killing me, so cyber pizza will have to do!
