Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

You know, I don't even have a decent guess, but since Blues reminded me how lucky I am to be heading to WDW tomorrow I need to answer something, if just to see my countdown clock one more time. Ummm, Haunted Mansion?

MBabe, here's another AAQ card to add to your stacks (good grief, do you have a vault where you keep all those things?) That photo is from the very end of ToT.

Leign Ann, how long and where are you staying? We are staying at WL and our first day in the parks is June 1. :teeth:

MK steps in and gets my question from earlier today...:)

AAQ to you!

And I agree...I was bummed to see that they took out the movies to make it another gift shop...at least they left the ticket booth in (I think they did anyway...) At this rate, in a couple of years they'll have to change the name of Main St. to Gift Shop U.S.A (or just rename the whole street "The Emporium" :p)

Good Night and have a good rest of the weekend everyone :)

psst.....anyone here? Hello....Hello....anyone? Bueller? anyone?

Boy - it's been a while, but with a 2 week trip to the Poly & GF...and then coming home in time for the finale of American Idol I want to be a Claymate for Clayboy takes some serious time to catch up on all the threads...

I thought of all you fine people when I was in the MK (the park - not the person) because I was told a piece of really good trivia...though something tells me that this question has been asked before, as I don't think that there are any possible questions that have yet to be answered - not to worry people - I have more AAQ cards in my back pocket then you can shake a stick at...

What are the native's chanting on The Jungle Cruise?

Something -doo economics.....voodoo economics....God, I love "Ferris Bueller" quotes...but I digress...

Hey...welcome back Madonna :D We've missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like it's just me and you here right now....it is late you know :p
Love your question....wish I could answer it...I know they are chanting something...but my brain isn't working right, and I can't think of what it is....
I'm sure it's not "oooga ooooga"...so I'll guess "Tourists, hand over your money to the mouse...:)"

Anyway....almost time for sleep....don't forget to turn out the lights....and welcome back again Madonna:)

Thanks for the welcome back - and from the mighty Emperor to- boot!

Ok - I'm heading off to sleep myself, so I will be sure to turn off the lights!

....geez Higgs - they don't need to chant THAT - THAT is already a subliminal message everywhere you turn in WDW....didn't you know - Mickey Mouse is really a rat? :p

LOL...you're so right Madonna...

Are they chanting "We wants the redhead?"

or is that PoC....I'm confused:confused:

Maybe some sleep would do me good....

Night....ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Welcome back Madonna  :bounce:

Do they chant "Go FSU"? Or is that on another ride:confused:

Its a small world after all, its a small world after all, its a small world after all, its a small small world... Thats what they chant right?

Welcome back Madonna. Doesn't one of the natives chant "I love Disco'"?

Yes!

AAQ to you Karen - 3 of the native's are actually chanting "I Love Disco" (simply because the imagineer who made them loved Disco...) The boat is going so fast and it is so mumbled (like the FSU one - that's Splash Mountain by the way Jen) that you can't make out what it is that they are saying...

Thanks for the welcome back's everyone...like WDW - I feel like I never left...:D

welcome back Madonna
Jeepers you're almost at post 2000
looks like we'll be having a celebration in the ChalkCircle tonight!!!

Everyone have a safe Memorial Day weekend.

We've had this one oh-so-long-ago, but just to keep things moving how many locomotives make upt the Walt Disney World Railroad in the Magic Kingdom at WDW?

Jeepers you're almost at post 2000

WOW! You know I didn't even notice this until you pointed it out?!? (Im a person who strives for quality of the post; not quantity) To me; quantity only means that I have more time on my hands at work then the next guy - where as quality means that I actually have something intelligent to say! :p

I actually think that it's only 3 trains that are running at any one given time - but there are 4 altogether that they use?!?

not three not four
Nadonna, kinda picked up on that by your tag line
***surrounded by idiots***

5?

Nadonna, kinda picked up on that by your tag line

First of all - it's spelt with an *M*; not an *N*...:p

Actually - "Im' surrounded by IDIOTS" is a line from The Lion King (thought every Disney fan knew THAT one)...but now that you mention it..."If the boot fits..." :p

Pintrader.. my source says there are 4... what source are you getting that from... ( i didnt mean that to sound mean... just in case ;))

Madonna,
I am sorry. saw that after I posted. Arthritis is really bad this morning guess I will have to type slower and re read before pressing "reply". I remember that line now that you refresh my memory :)

Steve, Disney Trivia game says Five -- the Walter E. Disney, the Roy O. disney, the Lilly Belle, the Roger Broggie, and the Ward Kimball.

Hope that helps.

Again Madonna please accept my apologies

thats interesting... Disney A to Z doesnt include Ward Kimball...

Hope i didnt anger you pintrader :)

Doesnt anyone know who Ward Kimball is?

p-shaw! anger me ???? Ward Kimball was one of the original imagineers. Ward joined the Disney animation staff in 1934. As one of Disney's "nine old men,". Ward’s house was described by some as "the first Disneyland." The significance of Ward’s San Gabriel home as the place where Walt Disney rediscovered and reconnected with his love of railroading that dated back to his childhood in Marceline. Ward and Betty Kimball were the first private citizens to collect and operate full-size trains on their own property.

I thought there was only 4 as well !

Here is more info.
Carrollwood Pacific Historical Society
Ward Kimball Tribute at Walt’s Barn

Carolwood Historical Society members and the public gathered at Walt’s Barn in Griffith Park on July 28, 2002, to share stories and remembrances of one of animation’s great masters: Ward Kimball. The Barn was filled with Ward Kimball memorabilia, from signed posters, to trains he once owned, to a Firehouse Five Plus Two CD, to pictures from his house and railroad collection-- Ward’s passions in life were well represented.

I believe, the fifth train was named after Ward at this ceremony.
