Parks Game! Part 6! Keep Playing! You Can't Stop Now!

Museman,
If one walks through the Studios attraction "One Man's Dream", one will see and hear a black and white video tape of Walt himself referring to his next upcoming project.

Walt refers to EPCOT twice within 2 minutes of one another. In one her refers to it as Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow and in the next he calls it the Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow.

I may be wrong but I think the TTA has referred to it both ways during it's lifetime, too. But currently it does say "city".

I just tried glazed french croissants for the first time this weekend. You guys HAVE to try these. ( for real too) Pass them around!!

Well..I would have to give the AAQ card to both Pam and PM. According to Vinyl Leaves by Steven Fjellman, Walt's design was for the Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow, a name that was changed to Community of Tomorrow at some point. However, Fjellman refers to the model passed by the TTA (when he wrote it, still the WEDway) as the EP City of tomorrow.

Hoping the academic explanation keeps the black monorail in its station

EDIT: Thanks Kathryn

What is the slogan of the Pirates of the Caribbean?

I found this a couple of pages back while I was trying to get caught up...I don't think Leigh Ann ever finished this...if she did and I missed it, let me know. She gave ahint that it's an 11 word sentence....

I'll guess...(although I should know this...but my original thought was ruled incorrect...Aargh...'tis a Pirate's life for me...)

"Take a thrilling voyage back to when pirates ruled the seas"

Hey all...busy weekend...I had to slog through a bunch of pages to catch up with you all :)
Hey, are there any pastries left? Or do I need to share this box of Krispy Kremes??? :D

Hey...is the PoC slogan "Come take a ride on a boat and see the new politically correct pirates ride...."

(OK..I admit...I don't know :))

Since we are having a tough time with the pirates slogan, let me throw out another question:

What was Walt's favorite time in the park? And, where will you hear this information?

Pam is it after the parks closed and all the lights were still on? And do you hear this during the Fantasy in the Sky presentation at Mk? Or maybe I just imagined it:confused:

During the opening...when guests are arriving. You'll hear this at One Man's Dream.

*** Pirate says his answer with authority hoping that the judges will actually think he has a clue! ***:smooth:

Neither DisJen nor PM are right, although DisJen is closer. That is as much of a hint as I can give without giving it away.

Was Walt's favorite time right after closing so he could count the daily receipts? :p

Okay, I'll guess that he enjoyed walking down Main Street before everyone got there in the morning...reminding of his home in Missouri!

Pam, you might be dancing with the Black Monorail soon....since I don't think Walt spent a whole lot of time at WDW!!!

Granny - It wasn't after closing and I don't think the black monorail will depart because this is a quote taken from something in WDW (and I do have the sound clip on my computer at home to back me up on this.) I am aware he was never in WDW but there are lots of references to Walt throughout the parks. This is just one of them.

Pam do we hear it during Fantasy in the Sky at the closing? For some reason I think I heard it then:confused:

DisJen it isn't during Fantasy in the Sky, but it is in the Magic Kingdom.

Pam....I didn't do a very good job with my smilies on my comment about the Black Monorail. I meant it as a joke....this question is certainly a valid parks question! My apologies! :)

Do you hear this about Walt at the Main Street Exposition Hall?

Granny - Sorry. I didn't get enough sleep last night, so I took it seriously. Plus, as a newbie I am afraid of that black monorail:eek:

This isn't heard in the main street exhibition hall.
Good guess though.

Pam....Was the time early in the morning before anyone arrived? and did you hear it in "The Walt Disney Story" before it left or at The Expo Hall now?

:smooth:

Okay... here isa softball to swing at while we all ponder Walt's words :)....

What are you supposed to bring with you upon "hurrying back" to the Haunted Mansion?

:smooth:

Would you believe this is the closest guess so far! Okay, maybe not, but I like it!

I was going to give hints but I am really, really enjoying the wild guesses!

MBabe...I think you are asked to bring your death certificate back the next time you come to HM!

lacool....is the slogan something that is said or is it written somewhere? Just wondering, because my guess was from something written just outside of PoC.

And if you enjoy the guesses, then how about:

"Welcome for richer or poorer; we get richer and you get poorer!":p

Granny....Yes, don't forget to bring your death certificate ;)

Dusty AAQ card to Granny :Pinkbounc

:smooth:

Granny, uuuhhh..... I don't know. I'm guessing written, but my source doesn't name it's source. Is your guess 11 words long?
