Parks Game! Part 5...Keep Playing! Resistance is Futile!

wow! morning all:wave: It looks like you all got the currently active queestions, so I'll drag one up from page 72 that is 2/3 of the way answered.

Just got home from WDW here is a good one, I think.

What is the "entertainment" in EPCOT in the Italy Pavillion?

I just brought in hot roasted candied pecans and almonds. Pass them around while they are warm.

lacool - Character Masquerade, a bunch of folks in harlequin dress and Venetian masks, with a bubble machine.

MBabe got Imaginarium in Italy.... I know they are supposed to be in France but they were in Italy when we were there... go figure

Now what is the name of the last entertainment?

Kathryn...is the last entertainer Lou E.G. :p , the mime?

And I'll toss one out there too.

Which Magic Kingdom attraction is reached by walking under the WDW Railroad tracks?

Granny, that would be my most favorite attraction in all of WDW...Splash Mountain!!

MBabe and B'rer Karen....I'm looking for an attraction that you walk under the RR tracks as you approach the attraction...where the queue line actually goes under the RR tracks.

I don't think that applies to PoC or Spl Mtn.

Karen....Splash Mountain is a good one, isn't it? So much theming....even the big drop is part of the story line!

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc a silent, costumed, marble AAQ to lacool, mbabe and granny
was that right? I may have to go back and check :o

Is anyone else having problems with the site. It is sending my reply posts as new posts and I am getting white screens with HTML code on them and then can't get back to the site at all.

Well you obviously have something else in mind, so I'm gonna continue thinking, but I'm pretty sure the Splash mountain queue line goes under the railroad tracks. I consider the queue line to start under the "stand by" sign, in which case you would have to go under the train track as you walk throug the line.

I'm walking the park and I just can't think of another attraction whose queue line goes under the train track. I really need to wake up!

Yep Granny, it is a WONDERFUL ride. I'm really hoping I can get my mom on it during our October trip because I can't imagine a trip to the World without riding Splash! A dole whip and Splash..my two must dos! :teeth:

Granny.... I think you might be cruisin' for a visit from the PGSP ..... I believe Br'er Karen's answer meets your specifications :rolleyes:As a matter of fact you must have heard my big head slap when I read her post :p

I'll just guess....Space Mountian

I think I'll go for a Tri Mountian Wake up ....just for research mind you ;)..... any one else?

:smooth:

Hey all...Just wanted to check in and say hi...and have a good week! :)
I'm off to Vegas for a trade show...so I won't be around in the CC until I get back on 4/1...keep the CC clean...and save my spot...I'll need it when I get back :) (Hopefully with lots of $$$ from the casino...:p)
Take it easy...and I'll see y'all when I get back...

Oh...BTW...the answer to the current question is the WDW Railroad (hey...it may work :))

I thought about that too. But the queue line doesn't start underneath the railroad tracks. But that's the only other place I can think of that you walk under the tracks. It's probably something really obvious and I am just missing it and I'm gonna smack myself when I hear the answer.

Karen

Okay.....UNCLE!!!! :p

AAQ card to B'rer Karen for Splash Mountain.....I didn't think the queue line went under the tracks but evidently it does....sorry about that!!

And AAQ card to MBabe....yes, I was looking for Space Mountain.

And AAQ card to Higgs (don't try to cash it in at a casino!). While you don't "have to" go under the tracks to get on the train, it is an imaginative guess....and besides, I'm always generous when I screw up an answer! :p

Thanks Granny. I never knew that Space Mountain's queue line went under the tracks. That's a neat fact. I like learning new stuff about the World, which is why I love this game.

Now I need to think of a question.

MBabe takes Granny by the hand and sits him down in a nice comfy CCAC... Here you go Granny, have a nice cool Dole Whip and don't worry, I promise to be nicer to you for the rest of the day...... I feel so bad, unlimited Dole Whips for you for the remainder of the day ;)

And another guess gets me an AAQ card... I'm on a roll :p... I'll cash it right in here....

Where in WDW can you find an Oscar?

:smooth:

MBabe....isn't Walt's Oscar for Snow White in the One Man's Dream exhibit at MGM?

Don't worry MBabe....I'm getting quite used to messing up my questions and answers....and the PG Semantics Police cruise by several times a day in their Black Monorail!!!:p

Morning all. :) Hope everyone had a good weekend. :)

I'll say an Oscar can be found in the beginning queue area of the Animation tour. Well, there used to be one there if memory serves correctly.

Hey, I'm under 2 weeks on my countdown!! :bounce: :bounce: Two weeks from tomorrow and I'll actualy be *at* WDW. :teeth: Too bad GMR is closed..... :( Oh well....

Granny..... I know it was supposed to be there but when we visited OMD in January, the Snow White Oscar (and seven little oscars) was not there. I think they may have put it back in the archives

Jay.... Yes you can find several at the Animation Tour... but they are at the end. at least they are now.

Oscar AAQ cards to Granny and Jay :bounce:

Jay how exciting :bounce: You will have to tell us all about your trip upon your return. With any luck, you may be randomly chosen to test Mission Space :p... thay have been doing that for a couple of weeks now.

Here, have a drink, sit and play a while :)

Thanks MBabe. :) LOL... shows how long it's been since I've visited MGM, huh? The Oscars were in the beginning of the tour. :o But I'll have my camera and note pad handy while I'm there. :teeth:

Hmmm... question, question, question... I need a question.... Okay... here we go:
Alien Encounter takes place in a building with a themed name to Tomorrowland. What is the name of the building?

Thanks for the drink. :) They're already giving freebies on Mission: Space? Cool! I wonder what's the best way to get picked....

Some of you older players may remember me. I posted a few times last spring in the original PG.

I think I'm up. Here's one: There is an attraction in the Magic Kingdom with a VIP lounge in the control tower. What is this attraction?

Alien Encounter takes place in the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center.:teeth:

I'll turn in an AAQ to keep us rolling along...

I have passed through the gate and am with my mate off to the past I go. I jump and gigle and take with me a "friend" as I am told to come back again. Where in the "World" am I?.......

:p
