Hello Everyone! It's great to be back home (except for the fact that I had to dig out a place for the car and dig up walk at 10 at night). Well I guess I do a trip report in two sections the pro's and the cons.
Pros: I was at WDW! While in Tomorrowland (5 times) I found this great brass/jazz band, The Tomorrowland Countdown. They were very good and great sense of humor too. I made myself proud by finding 4 hidden mickeys that I had never seen before. We did a Chef Mickey's character breakfast. In Downtown Disney I built a 100 years of magic pin at the pin trading location and at Once upon a Toy I built with Lincoln Logs (what can I say, WDW brings out the kid in me). Once again, I was in WDW!
Cons: This was my first stay a Boardwalk and I was not impressed. We rented a two bedroom (which at the BW is a one bedroom with a connecting door to a studio) and had several problems. The shower in the one bedroom was infested with ants, the dishwasher took a total of 1 1/2 hours to do a load of dishes, and the worst of all, the dryer made the loudest skin crawling screeching noise I have ever heard. We had matenince look at it and they sad they would fix it. They came, looked at it, left, and never returned.
At MK, Buzz was down for rehab the first two days we were there but it opened up on saturday. Sadly I have no idea what they were doing during the rehab because the cars where just as ratty as the last time I was there.
And now for the interesting:
There was major construction going on at Shades of Green. Four large crains, possibly a whole new building.
MISSION: Space looks great and I could walk right up to it. There is only a chest high barrier in the way.
There was rehab/constrution on a lot of things, but not rides.
Finally, they was some sort of construction going on in the SSL, near where the Water Pagent floats enter the lake.
Thats it. It sure is great to be back here.
