yeah... "the time is now..."
if thats not what you meant, it's 1939

no thats not what i meant...let me try to make it a liitle less confusing:

when lightning struck the hotel all the clocks stopped.... what time do the clocks read?

There isn't a specific time that the lightning struck...if you're thinking about the thing above the elevators, where it shows the level that the elevator is on, theeen it's 13.

Could it be 7:22 which would be the date that it first opened (July 22, 1994)?

By the way, DW and I were actually there that day for the Grand Opening. We were one of the first 100 people to ride it. You want to talk about crowds??? We were packed in so tight, we both had trouble breathing and really started to get scared when they let us go. If we hadnt run, we would have been trampled.

Would I do it again? Not on your life. The street was packed side to side, front to back, in mid July heat and humidity, well you get the picture.

Now back to the game...

Well it has to be sometime at night becasue when the lightning strikes it is night time. I'm going to guess that its 11:59 pm.

nope not 1:13 but your on the right track by saying it was nite time

the time that the lightning struck the HtH was 8:05 ..next time you ride take a look at the clocks in the lobby

This is soooo frustrating cuz it's something I notice whenever I ride the ride and for some reason I cant think of it. I'm anxious to hear the answer though...good question BTW!

OK since no one answered that other question correctly I will ask another
