A Horsey AAQ to you Lady Di!

Yea, well I don't feel very special seeing as I totally guess Norway by process of elimination!!!

Where in the World can you find chess pieces?

I'm thinking of one specific place, but I'm sure you guys are going to come up with a crazy list!!

Lady Di,

How about the rooftop ornaments of the Haunted Mansion.
Or the Queue line of PoC - the skeletons playing chess.

I know there are others out there too!

Thanks Di! I'll use it now...

What is unique about the loading area of Kali River Rapids?

looking for a specifc function involved in the loading process.

/
Good morning. I can't think of anything unique other than the revolving platform, but that's not unique as other rides load that way too. Is it obvious in its uniqueness?

Well, That was what I was going ofr Sandy!

I've been on one other ride like it at Busch Gardens - and it doesn't revolve there, so... I thought it was pretty unique!:o

A revolving AAQ to Sandy!

Okay, the reason it threw me was the uniqueness quotient. I can think of other rides whose boarding are rotate too, so I'll make that my question:

Name all the rides in WDW whose loading platform rotates to keep pace with the ride vehicles?

Only rotates, right? Not like the moving walkways in HM or BLSRS?

I'm going to say SSE

No, rotate only and so far we have:

TTA - 1Houraway
Kali River Rapids - 1Houraway
SSE - Diana Lyn

Btw, since I asked this question on the spur of the moment, I'm not sure if I have a complete list in my head, so I don't know when we'll have all the answers :)

gotta get back to the first page!!!!

The only revolving loading area that I could think of was the WEDway People Mover, but I see that 1hr laready has that one covered by its new, and not nearly as good, name.

Sandy... I think you have them all. ::yes::

I'll use one of my AAQ cards to post a question while we wait for the last one to be declared complete ;)

What show was located in the Backlot Theater just prior to the Hunchback of Notre Dame -- A Musical Adventure show?

princess:

Pssstttt..... Todd when "bumping" the thread feel free to toss out a softball to keep us honest. ::yes::

MBabe - I believe that would be the Pocahantas show. Right?

Sorry about the bump thing. Sometimes I forget my DIS ediquette. :guilty:

Oh... No need to be sorry.... Here have a nice Happy Hour beverage to pick you up.
ernaehrung004.gif

Todd... You are correct... It was the Spirit of Pocahontas show.

A maize AAQ card to Todd! :bounce:

:p

I'm going to turn in an AAQ card, inspired by 1Hour's horsey picture from this morning:

The real Eiffel Tower is about the same color as the Statue of Liberty. But the one in France in WS is more beige and pink looking. Why is that?

Granny.... I believe it because the France Pavilion is supposed to represent the late 1800s and the Eiffel Tower is the same color it would have been then. ::yes::

:cool2:
