Parks Game: Part 10! How Perfect is That!!!

I am so dense -- I knew one of the pay phone numbers because I asked a similar question about 2 weeks ago -- stupidity got the best of me last night! So I will second James on his answers

as for Grannys - I will guess somewhere in fronteirland.... :teeth:

Beth...you are correct, but I'm afraid I'll need a little more specific location for that bar! :)

Granny is it next to Town Hall? or in the shooting gallery?

Granny - How about in the town on BTMRR?? You sly dog!

Oh, and 1Hour comes in and nails it! Yes, it is in the flooded town on BTMRR....right across the tracks from the dude in the bathtub! :p

A "Hold onto your hats & glasses" AAQ card to 1Hour!

Thanks Granny! I'll use it now.

During the terrific montage of film clips on AA in EPCOT - What famous American has the first spoken lines? Bonus if you can tell me what the person says.

Rev. Martin Luther King says "I Have a Dream."

James - you're right! Martin Luther King does speak. There is a snippet of his "I have a dream" speech, however he does not have the first spoken lines.

ADad - you get an A! The first spoken lines are by John F. Kennedy and it is the "Ask not" speech!

A presidential AAQ to you!

As James pointed out - Dr. Martin Luther King has the next spoken lines with his "I have a dream" speech.

Now, what is the third set of spoken lines? Who? What? Where?

I believe that the 3rd line comes from Neil Armstrong, from the Sea of Tranquility ( the Moon!) and the line is "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind..."

:earsboy:

I'll redeem the Presidential AAQ card with this softball:

One ride at Epcot features an Audio Animatronic character who shares common job background with Walt himself...Name the ride, the job, and the location of the character.

This one will go fast.

:earsboy:

ADad - You got it - the third and final spoken words are from the Apollo mission Flight control in Houston and Neil Armstrong - "Tranquility base - the Eagle has landed" sequence!

Very Good work - you know your AA!

A lunar AAQ to you!

Wait a minute......The 3rd line could be from FDR at the House of Representatives with the "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself" speech.........I'm a little curious about this now......

:earsboy:

Thank you 1hour, I guess FDR is number 4. I'll hold on to the AAQ card until the previous one is done.

:earsboy:

:eek:AAH! the EPCOT questions are back! I must go! and soon! otherwise I will never know the answers of these great questions!

:wave2: Off to EPCOT -- see you soon!

and how I wish... I am preparing for finals today...

ADad - During the film montage at the end, when Golden Dreams is being sung there are only 3 sets of spoken words - JFK - MLK - and the Apollo landing - the rest of the clips have no spoken words or dialogue.

1Hour

Thanks for the clarification - you saved me from having to find the right Disney CD with the sound track, etc.

I might be thinking of "Cult of Personality" by Living Color.....but that is another story.....

back to the game, is anyone up for virtual touring? BethBreakey's already heading over to Epcot....according to my watch, the World Showcase just opened....I think I'll run over to Germany and check out the Christmas stuff.
