Good Morning Everyone!

To stick with the Tower of Terror theme ...

Where is the hidden mickey in the preshow for Tower of Terror?

*EDIT* - the hidden mickey in the film, not in the room.

Beth - is the hidden mickey in the fire alarm shown in the film?

Ace.... These are the dates I have....

"America The Beautiful" 1971 - 1974 Returned from 1975 - 1979,

"Magic Carpet 'Round The World" 1974 - 1975 Returned from 1979 - 1984

"American Journeys" 1984 - 1994 Replaced by TimeKeeper

But I'll take a stab and say that at one point they might have had an EPCOT preview there.

Stupid question - what is MouseFest 2004 and why is called 2004 if 2003 isn't over yet?

MBabe,

Right as usual, but for a brief period of time between late 1994 and early 1995, the show we now know as Timekeeper was known as "The Transportarium."

You and Horizons can fight it out for the AAQ card

(Still bummed about missing MouseFest...)

I think MBabe should get it.. it took more effort to know the dates than the shows!

Good thing they changed it to Timekeeper. I mean come on The Transportarium.... doesnt really fit!

one hour -- sorry it took so long -- There may be one there but it is not the one I am thinking of -- this is a very obvious one.

For Beth's question, I believe 1Hour got it, but just to throw it out there, I think the little girl is holding a very very old Mickey Mouse doll.

Not really hidden, but he's there.

I'll second TDG on the Mickey doll. I've read that it actually was a model that was sold at the time that that scene is supposed to take place in.

Yup...the girl is holding a Mickey doll in the ToT preshow....:)

Great Job DisGod - sorry it took so long - the little fraky girl is holding a mickey doll... not the "classic" three circle hidden mickey - but not people notice it.

here is a not so hidden AAQ to you my dear.

Not to argumentative but the question was...

Where is the hidden mickey in the preshow for Tower of Terror?

Hidden Mickey being the subject. The question was not...

"Where is the obvious Mickey Mouse Doll in the preshow for Tower of Terror?"
:hyper:

Oh well, you can't win 'em all!

:earseek: You mean it's a film! I'm pretty sure they are ghosts ::yes:: yep... they are ghosts! ;)

Uh.... 1Hour you bring up an interesting point, I myself consider that part of the show, not the preshow. I figure once you are seated in the elevator... On with the show! ;)

Bethie.... Your question...your answer :teeth: TDG won the AAQ card fair and square :)

:sunny: G'Morning PG Players....

Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me?... that happens to live in MK's Toontown?

:p

MBabe....oh, I know that's a trick question! The leader of that club is really Donald Duck!!! (He told me.)

:p

Speaking of Mickeys in films, I have a question that is not really a parks question, but I don't know where to ask this. My daughter was watching MOnsters, Inc. this weekend and in the scene where Mike and SUlly go into Boo's room and she starts handing Sully her toys, she noticed that one of the toys she handed him was Nemo! Was the film in production at the same time as Monsters, Inc., or was it purely coincidental

Sandy notes that probably nothing is coincidental at Disney

And to stay on topic, I'll second Goofy as a guess :)

Sandy - I believe Finding Nemo was already in production when Monster's Inc. was being made, therefore it was intentional. I know that the process to make an animated movie, whether it be CG or HD, takes years from start to finish. I remember seeing the original sketches for Mulan at MGM Animation tour 3 or 4 years before the movie actually came out. In articles I've read about PIXAR, their next 4 or 5 movies are already planned and are in various stages of production.

Hope this helps!
