I have a Sept trip planned this year. I see, per last years schedule, that the MK closes @ 7 PM.....weekends too!!

Anyone know if Spectromagic is held?? Will I be missing "WISHES" this trip too??

How about nightime @ EPCOT or MGM???

Thanks a bunch!!!

We go every September.
In that past few years they have only had Wishes and SpectroMagic on one night over the 8 days we are there, usually the weekend. For example MK would be open late 8 or 9 pm) on a Saturday night in September and would have Spectro and wishes.

Epcot still had Illuminations every night and Fantasmic at MGM is usually showing a few times during the week.

We always go the second or third week and September for 8 days and all three shows are showing, but maybe only once or twice during the week.

Plan ahead, check hours as soon as they are posted and you should beable to see them all.

Maybe with the 50th celebration happening you will get better hours and more parades and fireworks this year.

Don't worry about short hours, the crowds are so low in September you will have plennty of time to see everything twice.

pennyplanner...

On this DIS site, under "park hours".... Then..put in your stay and get the "projected" hours.
My trip will be from 9/9 to 9/20.

We've gone the last 2 Sept's.

Last year, Wishes was at 8 (or 9) everynight. Spectro was held 2 days.

The prior year, the fireworks and Spectro were only held on Sat night. The MK closed at about 7 each night, except Sat.

Last Sept (3rd week), had only Spectro on a Tue I think. The fireworks were every night at MK and illuminations was every night. We dodged hurricanes but the crowds were nonexistent and it was a fantastic time to go.

Well I know the Magic Kingdom will be closing early on September 9 and 10, as Night of Joy will be going on those two days. From 7:00p.m. to midnight. So I would think on those two days the Magic Kingdom would close 6:00 p.m. or a little bit earlier then that, to get everything already for Night of Joy.
