parks before check in??

So I am thinking we might have time to visit a park BEFORE we can check into the POP. How do I get our tickets?? Can I only get them AFTER I check in since we bought them all together??? HELP

If i'm reading this correctly. You're going to arrive at POP before you think your room will be ready for check in? If so, you can still go to the desk at POP register, get your tickets and then you can store your luggage, take off to a park for awhile and then go back when you think your room will be ready. We just stayed at the resort, let the kids relax after the flight, let them swim for a bit, dried off then took off to downtown disney for a while till we came back to find our room ready!

Yes, you will actually have to go to the hotel and check-in to get your tickets. Although you room might not be ready, you can store your luggage, etc. at Pop and come back later when it is ready. Your luggage should be in your room when you get back from the park.

As mentioned by others, a few years back we checked in our OKW resort in the morning, bought our tickets and had our luggage stored. This is a nice option because you get your key cards (even though you don't know the room number yet) and are able to put your tickets onto them instead of having multiple cards to handle. It was also nice to have the luggage waiting in the room for you.

Here's another one agreeing with what's been said.

We got to Pop prior to the official check-in time. We checked in, got tickets and they held our luggage and we went on our way. Came back later and room was ready and luggage was in the room.

You can check in as early as 6:30 am.

Question for those of you who do this, what do you do with your carry on stuff like laptops and such?

I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it with bell services. I guess the pool for the kiddo's is the best option because I don't relish hauling it around the parks either.

The last time we went our room was ready within a few hours, so by the time we had grabbed a bite at the food court and checked out the arcade and such the room was ready.

We've left our laptop with Bell Services before, no problems. I believe DH filled out a slip of paper stating it was there, etc., and when they brought our things out, they had him check it.

He told the CM it was there when he first dropped our things off. They're used to it, and probably plenty more.

We've checked in to ASMu as early as 6:15 or so in the morning with no problems. Our room was actually ready, but when we checked into Pop early, it wasn't. We just got our tickets and went on to the park for a few hours.
