We are planning a trip in August, but staying off-resort only visiting MK and HS on two separate days. Are there any parking benefits or tips for DVC members? We are also AP Holders as well.

Parking at the theme parks is NOT a DVC Member benefit.

We are also AP Holders as well.

Passholders (along with Disney Resort Guests) get free parking at the theme parks.

Your AP card will get you in to the theme parks for free parking. I heard that if you want to pay the upgrade fee for preferred parking that exists, you will only pay the difference!

Thanks for the responses, I thought DVC could park at the Hotels, but that's only with a reservation.

That is for overnight parking. There is no fee to park at a resort unless you use Valet Parking. But you might not be permitted to park at a resort without an ADR. Then your parking would be limited to possibly three hours.

Wow, I didn’t know that. We’ve never paid but I guess that wasn’t because of dvc. Is it free if you are already staying onsite?

Yes. It's a perk for anyone staying at an on-site resort, and the WDW DVC Resorts are on-site resorts. As others have said, it is not a DVC perk.
