We are going to Disneyland this summer. Being a DVC member, do we get free parking in the parks? We will not be staying at a Disney resort this trip (all booked up). TIA

no free parking for DVC. the free parking is because you are staying onsite.

now if you have an annual pass for DL then you get free parking. (just like at WDW)

Exactly. Even at WDW, you don't get free parking because you are a DVC member. You get free parking because you are either staying onsite, or have an annual pass. If staying offsite at WDW, and you don't have an AP, then there is no free parking at the parks.

that say - if you are staying in a hotel close by - you can probably walk to DL.

it is not like WDW - far away from the outside world. DL is in the middle.

FYI - You have to have the Premium annual pass for free parking at DL.
