Parking

I posted this in another forum. I was wondering if or when they let the parking lot open for people running the race. We want to take a motor home down next year. We want to arive Fri day to park and enjoy Epcot then sleep there until the race on Sat Morning. One poster said they would make me move it two hours after the park closes. But is there special parking for the runners that is open early or for the weekend until the races are over. We were at a resort this year and we were down at the bus stop by 4am but every other runner had the same idea. We almost didnt get on a bus.

THanks for any useful tips from those who drove to the race.

When I was working in the world as a CM the security people would be out in force on those nights to prevent people from doing what you would like to do. Even under normal circumstances you would need to have a reserved spot at Fort Wilderness. I know from first hand exeperiance two from years that getting up and runing sucks but it is the only option that Disney gives the athletes.
