Parking ?

We'll be staying at the All Stars in Dec for 8 days. My MIL who lives in FL would like to come and join us for 2 days of the trip. She would unofficially stay with us for 2 nights (since we are on a package and cant add her for just partial)Would there be a problem with her parking her car at the resort for 2 days? Any experience with this? Thanks

My parents are DVC members and stayed at the VWL last December. Since I am relatively close to Orlando (closer than most, but actually it's still about 2.5 hours away), I came up to spend a few days with them in their villa. Upon their arrival, they told the front desk that they would need 2 parking passes as I would be joining them later in the week (they had rented a car themselves). No problem and they happily issued a second pass which I placed in my car when I arrived.

Since they were in a villa, occupancy levels being exceeded was not an issue and I honestly don't know if they had me on their reservation at all, but I suspect so. My dad is always very by the book and I know that he made the desk staff fully aware that I was staying in their room (albeit on the pullout sofa, but it was still lovely to see them) for part of their stay.

Thanks for the response. We wont be excedding occupancy restrictions or have a car ourselves so it wouldnt be an extra parking pass. I'm just hoping to make it work out so she can spend some time with her GD

You should be able to add her to the reservation when she arrives. Most CM's are flexible about adding them when they are standing there.
