Hi there,

Does anyone know if it's possible to pre-book, or block-book, car parking at Disney/Universal?
I'm just wondering if it would be a little cheaper this way?

...and yes I am Scottish.

Thanks in advance.

Ian

Ian - as far as I am aware no it is not, unless anyone else knows different?

I've never heard of this I must admit.

If you are going to be spending quite a bit of time at WDW and have not yet bought tickets, it may be worth considering an Annual Pass which gives free entry to the car parks (as well as unlimited access to the parks for 12 months).

If you were only planning a few days at WDW probably not worth it but just thought I would mention it :)

Only a thought - but not sure if you can do this .....

You could park in Downtown Disney and catch free? bus transport into parks, but of course if you're going to say EPCOT then you'll prob go to ALL the EPCOT resorts before getting to the parks.

If this isn't correct then I'm sure someone will put me right!!

Cheers

Ju

That's not strictly right any more Ju, it used to be but WDW no longer provide any transportation from DTD to the parks. I guess for this reason, LOL.

You can in theory park at DTD, catch a bus to a resort, get off and then wait for another bus to the park you want to go to, and then repeat that process on your way out in the evening. It is going to add substantially to your journey time.

Personally the $8 parking fee is worth paying to avoid that rather long additional commute ;) You do enough waiting in queues already at WDW without adding to it :)

We have APs for Universal and it does save you a few $ in car parking, actually it only costs us $100 to renew our passes, and we reckon that we save a good $50+ on our holiday in parking fees.
Especially as Joshua loves Universal Studios ;)

Thanks for all your replies.
I guess i'll ask at the parks on the first day and see what they say....

Thanks again.
Ian

Hi there,

Please be aware that no weekly or length of stay program for parking exists at any Disney park in Florida. It was mentioned earlier, that if you are a annual passholder, such as ourselves, you can park without charge or if you staying at a Disney resort parking is also free.

:yay: :yay: :yay:

There is no longer a direct route from DTD to any of the parks because of people abusing this.
