Parking questions

We will be arriving at Epcot (in our car) later that day we will be checking into CBR.

Is it true that we do not have to pay to park? How is this accomplished?

You need to stop by CBR first and get your parking pass. Drop off your luggage while you're at it and have it waiting in your room at the end of the night. But once you drop by the hotel (any time that day), you'll get a parking pass good for your stay.

We don't want to stop at CBR first......I thought that there was some way around doing that.

Can we pay for parking and get it credited back when we check in?

shouldn't your confirmation for CBR be enough to verify you are checking in that day????

No, they will not credit the fee back to you, but ,as Lawgs suggested, your confirmation will get you in.

For my "confirmation" can I just print out my DU reservations? I don't have an actual confirmation from Disney.

Print out the confirmation from DU and you may also be asked to show a photo ID to confirm that you are the person on the confirmation. They may or may not let you in free - since technically you are not a resort guest until check-in (and the official check in time for that day will be after you enter the park!) I'd taking the few extra minutes to stop at CBR and get your pass. You may get lucky and get access to your room right away. On our last trip we arrived around 11am and were able to get into our room. Also it will save you time at the end of the day -- you won't have to wait in the check-in line with tired feet after a long afternoon at the park! In addition, you won't take the chance of leaving you belongings in the car. It is unlikely that anything would be stolen- but I wouldn't take the chance!
