Parking question

We are staying offsite the night before check in at the Pop but want to hit Animal Kingdom right away check in day. So if we drive to Animal Kingdom before the Pop....will my magic bands work?....and will I have to pay for parking?

1) You will pay, unless checked-in at your resort.
2) You can ASK the Lobby Concierge for a refund.

I don't know if the entrance to the parking lot at DAK has the new RFID readers yet (some have been seen at MK's lot.)

If they do have the readers, they can see that you are registered at a WDW resort and might let you in at no charge.

I haven't been to DAK in a while but all 3 other parks have the readers at the parking gate so I'd assume DAK does as well.
