Parking Question

I'm a new DVCer. Actually, I'm one of those that bought at Aulani and was just about to close and the whole Aulani fiasco happened and have been waiting over a month for it to be cleared up. We were still able to book though at Aulani for the second week it's open. We are SO EXCITED!!!

So my question is about parking. My understanding is that we have 2 free parking with our stay. Is it per membership or per room reservation? We booked a room with our points for ourselves and a room for the in-laws. Do we only get 2 parking altogether for our stay or 4 parking (2 per room reservation)?

We are SO happy with our decision and have planned our next 5 vacations already!!!!

Not sure where you got your information. Parking is free at all the resorts especially the one you are staying at (not the parks) and you can have as many parking passes as you have cars. We once had four for a two bedroom. The "free" parking does not incude valet (unless you have a handicapped designation).

That is true for the WDW DVC resorts. I think there are different policies in effect for Aulani (Hawaii DVC resort).

OP- I do not know the answer to your question, but hope someone who does will post soon.

The member website is not totaly clear on parking at Aulani. It simply states up to 2 cars. Here's what's posted on the member website:

Parking at the Resort
Convenient self-parking will be available at no daily charge for up to two cars for DVC Members and for those with a disabled parking permit. Valet parking will also be available for a charge.

I think that means 2 cars per room. Since you have booked two rooms with points that would be 4 cars.
People not on points have to pay $35 per day per car.

Well our guide had told us we get 2 parking and usually it's $35 a day but never asked if it was per membership or per room reservation. I guess whenever the Aulani thing gets cleared up and we go in to finally sign the paperwork, we can probably ask her then. I really hope it gets resolved soon!!! And I can't wait for Aulani to finally open its doors!!!!!!!!
