Hey, I'm an AP and just decided to go to Disneyland tomorrow (yay!). I know someone who is also an AP but is not going with me. Can I borrow their pass which has the parking for free even if they're not in the car? Would they make me pay since its not my face on the pass? Thanks!

Yes you have to pay. The owner of the AP has to be in the car with you to get the free parking.

You would need to pay. If you two looked similar enough, it might be okay, but if the parking attendant notices that it is not you on the card, your friend will lose their season pass!

You could always pay the $12 for parking, and then add parking to your pass once inside and the $12 will go towards that?

If it's not your face on the pass, is it at least your name? If not, I don't see how you could possibly get away without paying. That's what you're trying to do right? Get into the Disneyland parking lot for free by using another person's AP. The last time I checked, that was called fraud. Disney could put you in one of their holding rooms and sue you in small claims court for doing that and I believe they would do it just to set an example. Not to mention taking away your AP.

There's taking short cuts to beat the system and then there's just being plain-old dirt cheap. Which one are you?:stir:

Wow, I have a hard time imagining Disney sueing over $12!

But you could most certainly expect that both of your Ap's will be taken away for at least 1 year. (which is what has happened to others)

It is against Disney rules to use another person's ticket, AP, etc., and since the DIS does not promote breaking Disney rules, I'm going to close this thread.

My advice is to either pay the $12, or upgrade your pass so your parking is included. :)
