Parking question for on-site newbie

We have been to the world many times but this is first on-site stay. I plan to drive to at least DHS, EPCOT, and AK for sure. I know I get free parking, but how will they do this at the parks? Is it part of the Magic Band?

When you get to your resort, they will give you a paper parking pass for you to put in the window of your vehicle(s). It is good for the length of your stay.

Yep. That is the current system, though I'd be surprised if MBs aren't worked into the onsite parking scene in the not-too-distant future.
