Parking question for 2 days/1 night

I have a question about parking fees at the premiere hotels (Hard Rock, Royal Pacific and Portofino Bay)

Say we book 1 night (say a Friday night).

We arrive Friday at 7am to get the Express Pass, leave our car in the parking lot and spend all day at the parks. We spend the next day (Saturday) in the parks as well, and leave the Hotel parking lot at 10pm.

I've read that they charge PER NIGHT. So it seems that I would be charged just ONE parking fee by spending 2 days at Universal. Is this true?

Is this also a loophole for the people who want to use one of these hotels as a 'burner hotel'? Where they get a Friday night stay, never use it, but park in the hotel parking lot on Friday 7am-10pm, then Saturday 7am-10pm?

You will only be charged for one night and get two full days of parking, as long as you leave the lot before midnight on your second day.
