Parking @ PHL

Wow....that's not a bad price at all. We'll be parking for 10 days so that's not too much more then we'd pay...who did you use? I just worry as I have 3 kids who are in car seats :confused3

I used a local Limo company out of Wenonah, NJ or Oak Valley. They woukld have to be local to take advantage of a good price.

It was two years ago as well, it might be more now.

A couple of thoughts:

- I used FastTrack (formerly AviStar) a couple of months ago and it worked out fine. When I arrived, the shuttle came right to my car, the driver handed me a card with my spot number and we went straight to the airport, about 5-10 minutes away. Upon return, you call the number on the card and the shuttle picks you up and drops you off at your spot. Very convenient.

- But, I think I also read you'll be doing a 10 day trip. That's pretty close to the break even point for two one-way car rentals. That's what I'm doing this summer and its going to save me quite a bit and my car will be resting in its garage at home. If you have a local Avis or Hertz (or others), go online and check the one way rates. I was able to get overnights each way with Avis for about $30 (using a coupon -- might have been Costco). The total for both one way rentals was about $75, which was considerably less than I would have paid to park.

Are there any rental companies onsite at PHL or do they all shuttle offsite?

You could call to see if they can supply the car seats. We did this once back when little ds still needed a booster seat. Flew into FLL and took a limo to Port of Miami. It may have been like $5 each way so x 3 kids it may add a lot more to your total price.

We have used Fasttrack (formerly Kinney) on Essington Avenue
They use shuttle service to the airport. We went for a week in February and it cost us with a discount online $57.00 including tax.

We always use pacifico and have nothing but positive feelings about it. they offer express return also. (as does winner) this is not their standard package, but ask about it when you first get there.

you can prepay and then when they come with your car to pick you up (after returning from vaca) you don't have to return to their facility.

I didn't read all of the posts, but it looks like I'm in the minority here. We used the economy lot and paid $9/day. I didn't think that was bad. We took the free shuttle to the airport (not even far away) and back. We had no problems.

Ok, wait...I just checked though and see that it did go up to $11/day for economy. Newark and JFK are much more expensive though ($18/day).:scared1:
