Is there any way around paying for parking besides purchasing the AP? We're staying off site and was just wondering if we could purchase a parking pass or if there were park-n-ride shuttles or anything like that.

TIA!!

Other than having an AP holder in the car with you, I don't know of any way to avoid the $9 parking fee unless you stay on-site. Since you aren't, check the hotel and see if they offer shuttle service to and from Universal. I know most of the hotels/motels on the upper end of I-Drive offer shuttle service but don't know what they charge..if anything.

The last time we purchased our tickets, we did so through AAA. We got two comp parking passes. We were staying onsite and didn't use them, so we saved them and used them for our next trip! If you haven't purchased your tickets for the parks, check with AAA- Good Luck!
