Here's a question: We are staying at POFQ in a few days. We will be taking ME and using Disney transportation the whole trip. However, my father-in-law and his wife will be staying at the Buena Vista Palace (with a rental car) for a few nights during the middle of our trip. Does anyone know if there is there any official policy that would prevent us from giving them our MYW parking vouchers while they are there?

Thanks in advance!

When you check in, just ask them for a parking pass. They Parking passes have nothing to do with MYW, Then you can let your uncle use th parking pass.

Are you talking about theme park parking? Unless they are staying onsite they have to pay. It's a perk for onsite guests that can't be transferred.

If you talking about parking at your hotel to visit you while at the hotel, they should be able to tell the guard that they are visiting you at the hotel but again they are not permitted to use it as a means of circumventing paying for theme park parking.

I don't see anything wrong with letting a relative use the parking pass that was part of the resort package that the OP paid for. The OP might actually ride with the relatives to the parks at least some of the time in that case certainly would be entitled to use the pass at those times. They don't ask for a license plate when checking in, they ask if you need a parking pass and give them out freely without stating any criteria for how it is to be used or whose car it can be used in. At the very least I would ask at check in if it would be permissible to use the pass in a relative's car that the registered guest would be traveling in at least part of the time.

It is permissible to use the parking pass in a car as long as the resort guest it was issued to is in that car. I give my parking pass to my son to use, but not if he is heading to a park, without me in the car. I give it to him so he can park, for an extended time, at my resort, when visiting me there.

Parking passes are intended to be used by resort guests...not handed off to off site guests. As it is against board guidelines to discuss ways around Disney policy, I am closing this thread. Thanks for understanding.
