Parking on Harbor side?

We are staying at the fairfield hotel on Harbor Friday and Saturday night, in parks Saturday and Sunday. I naively assumed we'd stay parked at the hotel on Sunday after checkout, but I'm seeing others saying they got the boot after checkout.

I know I saw a whole conversation about Harbor side parking options, but I skipped over them since I didn't think it applied to me! Woops! Can those that have parked outside of the M&Fs give some tips?

It was being used as a mass vaccination site for the past several months. I think they are closing it now (or maybe it’s already closed).

Park at Anaheim Gardenwalk. Supposedly you can get some special theme park parking for $18. This is from the website.

GardenWalk would be your best option. Just park there after checking out of your hotel.

For the garden walk parking it says text them a theme park merchant receipt number, what would that be? Can we use the receipt from the ticket purchase?

Hopefully somebody who's done it can confirm, but but I think it means the receipt number from something you bought in the parks that day - a meal, a souvenir, a snack, etc.

I had a paper receipt from a popcorn cart. I texted what was labeled as the Invoice # on the bottom of the receipt. About 20 minutes later they texted back that the ticket had been validated. Unfortunately I had already paid full price by then because we were trying to get out of the lot. Make sure you text before you leave the park because it does take them a while to validate.

For the garden walk parking I texted them in the morning after we got there with our parking number and park ticket conf. number and got the flat rate theme park parking.
