Yes it is nice isn't it? Disney finally enforces the rules. Now if they would only do that with poolhoppers and reusers of mugs! LOL!
But wouldn't that put the self-appointed DIS police out of a job? :smooth:

We've done this at the Boardwalk Inn and visiting the boardwalk too. Am I technically taking up someone's space who's staying at the BWI or BWV? Probably. But where else do you park to visit the BW? Anyone know?

In the lot across the street. According to BW management, anyone not staying at the BW or having a handicapped placard will have to park across the street in the near future, regardless of the reason for their visit. It's about time.

Next time plan accordingly. Either park it when you get there and use Disney transportation, or leave the vehicle at home. We usually drive down to our resort and then have a hard time remembering where we parked the car when it's time to go home.

Considering that we must use our car several tiems during our trips to attend to personal business outside of WDW, that's not an option.

I'm not suggesting that, I'm just saying that it sounds like the Poly and CR have major parking problems, plan accordingly.
I'm not going to let a parking place or lack there of ruin my vacation.

And by your signature I see that you generally stay in moderates that don't have parking problems due to their inaccesible locations.

Has anyone ever noticed that the people making comments like this are the ones who have never paid big bucks for a deluxe room then been inconvenienced by people staying elsewhere?

Amazing. :::::::::::::::::::shaking head::::::::::::::::::::::::::

As a certain President once said, "I feel your pain.'
And hopefully the problem will be solved if the earlier post is true and Disney is starting to enforce their rules. I wonder if the DIS had anything to do with that.

BTW love your new vacation home. As they say in the Real Estate world it's all "Location Location Location". Do you have room for another family of 4?

No of course not who do you think is reporting the cars? also we can all gather to watch when the offenders who's cars were towed show up looking for them and throw a tizzy fit, great entertainment, that!

I'm sure they would love to have you stay, but I'm afraid there is No Parking Available.

You posted this while I was complimenting your house.
No personal attacks, please.
If I were to splurge for a deluxe on the monorail I would also splurge for the valet parking.

Have a "magical" day.:earsboy:

I doubt anyone goes around turning in mug reusers or parking lot scofflaws.

To park at another resort the rules do say you MUST have a PS for a restaurant at that resort and are given a temporary 3 hour pass.

I know you can't park at the resorts to go to the parks, but I have never seen a copy of rules that say you are not allowed to visit another resort to look around, shop in the gift shop, etc. We did a grand tour one year of Christmas decorations - just told the security people we were there to look around, which was what we were there for. You do not have to have a PS to park there from my experience.

Wrong again.....But the righteous indignation is not unexpected. The solution is simple. If you want to park somewhere, pay the 6 lousy bucks & valet. You can then stay as long as you wish.
