Parking Garage Question

I know with my AP I get free parking in the parking garage. Would someone please explain how this works? Do I present my pass upon arrival? Departure? Anything else necessary? Thanks.

Just show your annual pass at the entrance to the parks. They will probably ask if you would like preferred parking which, I believe, is $4 for AP holders. We have seldom done the preferred parking because between the elevators, escalators and people movers, the walk is not bad for regular parking. The only time I would even consider paying extra for the preferred parking is if I would be going back to the car during the day for drinks, jackets, etc. Even then, I usually just go with the free parking.
