Parking for restaurants

Is it possible to go to one of the restaurants at the hotels if you are not staying at a Disney hotel or going to the parks. What I mean for example is can you drive to the Beach Club parking area and go to Beaches and Cream. I know they ask if you have a reservation at the gate and not sure if they let you in just to eat?

If you are going to eat at one of the deluxe resorts they will give you a three hour parking pass.
