Parking for one-day rental on last day?

We'll be at BW from June 26-July 1 and are renting a car to drive to the Sanford airport on the way home. My plan was to pick up the car at the Dolphin before checkout on July 1. We don't have to leave until 4:30 or 5:00pm, however, so we want to spend the afternoon at Epcot. Will I be able to keep the car at BW even after our check-out time? Since I am parking that car at BW for the first time that same day I thought it might come across as strange, and I might not be allowed to do it.

You are still considered a resort guest until midnight of the day you leave. So no problem with parking the car at the resort. Just be sure to get a parking pass for your car at your resort.

They will ask you at check-in if you have a car. Say yes and they will give you a parking permit for your entire stay. When you get the rental car, but it on the dashboard. You can still use your key to get into the gate at BWV up to midnight.

Thanks for the tips! As much as I know about staying at the resorts, this was uncharted territory for me!
