Parking for DVC ?

Thanks for the responses. Another question. Will my son have to pay for his vehicle if he’s staying with us in the same villa?
No, and if he's charged for parking, a simple visit to the front desk will have it taken off, no problem.

Under that logic you'd be entitled to show up and park even if you didn't have any reservation whatsoever.

You are stretching things to make your point. Why are you so concerned with this? If you are an owner, it's in your favor. If you are not an owner, it's not your concern.

No, I disagree. My 'ownership' remains whether I am paying with points or cash. I have a deeded interest in the property, which I paid for. Which every DVC member paid for.
No. Florida law forbids timeshares from charging for common elements, for owners or guests.

If the room is booked by points, parking is free. It’s the law.

Your ownership status only matters when actually using your timeshare. That’s where the law applies. Otherwise WDW is free to charge you what they will.

Free parking for timeshare owners and/or their guests - while using their timeshare- isn’t a perk. It’s a deeded interest. Since DVC is a points system, that’s the key metric, not ownership. If the room is booked by points, parking is free for all guests on the points reservation. WDW isn’t required by law to provide free parking to owners staying on cash.
