Parking for Disney Quest?

Will be there Jan. 4-16 with my 11 year old son. He loves DQ, so we always get the Water Park Fun and More add-on. What's the parking situation like near DQ these days? The last time we there (June) it was a complete disaster! I know the new garage is open. Does that make parking near the West Side area easier? Just wondering how frustrating getting down there is at this point. Thanks!

We were there last weekend and we were able to park in the new garage. We were in the front row right behind the bowling alley so hardly any walk at all.

We just went to Disney Quest yesterday. The garage and the front parking lot near Cirque were crowded and chaotic. They were trying to get most people to go park across the street. However, the back parking lot, the one nearest to the water and next to Cirque was half empty. So, I would recommend turning into the first parking lot and just keep driving straight until you get to the second parking area (lots P and Q, I think).

Thanks for all the info. We're staying off-site, so we can't take the bus. Hopefully after the Christmas shopping craziness is over it will be a little easier.

Since the OP mentioned it being crowded I did want to add that we visited on a Thursday at around 10:30 am before the shops were even open. So arrive early and you should have no problem parking up close and in the garage.
