We have reservations for an early dinner at Spoodles on our last day at WDW. I cannot figure out, though, if there is a parking area dedicated to the entertainment section of the Boardwalk, or if it is only parking for the *resort* Boardwalk. We will be driving, and I would like to walk around a bit before leaving (and we will be leaving right from the restaurant to drive home).

Is the Boardwalk (entertainment area) like the DTD area with its own, albeit crowded, parking lot? Or do you just park in the hotel parking and have a very limited time before they make you leave? (how do they know, btw, how long you have been there? Do they mark the tires like they do in some cities?)

No you just enter the main Boardwalk gates and park there. Tell the guard you are there for the BW. You have to walk through the BW and outside, down the stairs.

You'll have plenty of time to eat and walk around. We've parked at BW many times and I've never noticed our tires being marked.
