Parking for a flight from Toronto Island

Donald

You are my hero. Off to explore now. Do I have to book the park and fly on air miles?
Nope, if you go to the site, go to DREAM REWARDS and then under that section go to Privileges and it's on page 3. BUT on another thread someone just mentioned this:
Sunwing also has a Discount code for Park n Fly. I found the discount to be better than the Airmiles one.

For Economy lot the Coupon Code is: 827672
For Valet Lot the Coupon Code is: 825385

When you get a "quote" for Park n Fly on their site, it gives you a printable receipt that you scan when you pay to leave the lot that applies the discount.

OH and i forgot to mention that the UP Express has luggage racks and WI-FI as well ... most definitely the way to travel.

Wowsers.....you are awesome. So now I am wondering if we can get there early enough Friday evening, if we should park the car Friday evening and take the UP down Friday and stay in a hotel downtown instead of doing it all in the morning. Flight leaves at 9:35 am. Thoughts?

I think that would be the ideal solution! The UP runs from 5 am right through till 1 am every 15 minutes. Also with Billy Bishop being such an incredibly small airport you don't need to be there at the butt-crack of way too early!! This opens up all kinds of waaaay cheaper choices of hotels as well since you could then take the subway from Union to basically ANYWHERE. And as you may have noticed I can get obsessively lost in the world of travel planning on-line so if you need suggestions i can offer MANY! But perhaps the best?? I think you have Airmiles??? You should be able to find something for under 1000 points plus whatever they charge for taxes (usually around 30 -40)

I do have airmiles, but after buying Universal tickets with them not a ton left. I am pretty good at finding good prices on hotels. But I am thinking of staying close enough that we could just jump in a cab in the morning with our luggage. What would be the best option?

Yes, but just take the cab to Union Station since that is where you can get the shuttle (free) or take the pedestrian tunnel (has moving sidewalks) .. it's not too far from there. OR if you're close enough just hoof it to there and save the cab fare??

BTW i'm super jealous of your trip to Universal, we got 2 2-day tickets but chose not to leave the Disney bubble last fall and ever since we've both wished that we had gone!

And funny, we haven't done a Disney park in 4 years. My girls are 15 & 13 and have no interest. They love SeaWorld, Uni and Busch. We go DEC 18 to 26 ( very last minute trip) then come back and go march 12to 26. But we love Orange Lake and are happy spending 2 weeks right there.
Thanks for all your help.

The Radisson Harbourfront, on Queen's Quay, is in walking distance of the airport.

I'm laughing. I just checked out the airbnb and there are two boats listed as well, for the night. What fun.

EDIT: Sorry I rushed through the thread. And might have misunderstood about where you want to stay, using UP.
