Parking fees

This is quite the change from discussions about tour groups, scooter infractions and bus standing/seating options. popcorn::

I'm not confused and have zero reason to owe you an apology. I will show you my respect for the DIS by divorcing myself from this conversation. My ethics are proven by my previous posts about right and wrong.

Right. Aren't you the person who came in here saying "I haven't read this entire thread", and then you proceeded to deliver your sermon from the Mount?

You're right. Your ethics were proven by your previous posts.

I'm afraid to ask anymore questions! lol wow you guys are very passionate!

As others have said, please don't be afraid to ask questions. Sometimes threads on the Internet derail from the original subject, but most folks are genuinely trying to help. They simply disagree on what's best.

In the end, it's up to you to decide what works for you.

I am just :lmao: here. 11 pages in response to an innocent question on whether or not multi-day parking discounts are available???

You all are just too much.

popcorn:: until the mods shut it down!!

OK, I visited Magic Kingdom today (in the rain) and had a nice time taking photos. My curiosity got me and I stopped by Downtown Disney first, and I thought I'd share what I found in the parking lot.

Good Lord! How much longer until Disney is forced to start charging for parking there?

It could also mean renting an ECV just to get the "front of the line" privileges associated with it... ;)

OK, that I can understand. I have a friend in Las Vegas (older gentleman) who walks with a cane. I asked him why he needed it. He told me it was his line pass for the buffet.

As both pics are of the side away from the bus stops, they don't suprise me. People don't want to park there, they want to park by the shops. Did you take any pics of that parking lot?

I have another small question, and no I do not intend to abuse the system by taking multiple buses lol. If I make a reservation at a restaurant at a resort, like California Grill, do I park in the main parking lot and take the monorail there, or can you just drive to the resort? I've decided on that restaurant to take my mom for her birthday, just not sure where to park the car?

You can park at the Contemporary resort parking if you are dining there. Shouldnt be a problem.

if the $14 is going to make or break your vacation, perhaps this isn't the right time to go to Disney. It's not worth the stress to have to count and pinch every penny...it takes away some of the magic, imo.
It's really none of your business whether other people have to pinch pennies in order to afford the things they want.

Your opinion has no bearing on other people's finances. And it is rather rude to tell people how you think they should spend their money.

And, YES, *I* care about teaching other people how to cheat the already generous perks we get at DW. People will really be in a snit when they start charging for parking at DTD, won't they?
When are they going to start charging?

Where do you suppose they'll set up the toll booths for entrance?

Do you think they'll validate?

Do you know how it will work?
