I hope I'm posting this on the right board for everybody to read. I read this in the All Ears news letter. . from Linda Roberts: Just an FYI for anyone attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. My husband and I are Premium Annual Passholders and attended the party this past Friday, 9/21. We have attended other parties at the Magic Kingdom in the past and have never had to pay for parking. Upon reaching the gate, we were told that we would have to pay the $11 parking fee. If we had entered the park during regular park hours, no fee would be necessary (the park closed at 7 p.m. that night and we came through the gate at 6:45 p.m.). We checked it out once inside the park and sure enough, they were charging for parking. We checked the official website once we got home and it was nowhere on there. Please let your readers know that even Annual Passholders have to pay for parking for this event if they are just showing up for the party. Thanks! I'm not sure if everybody new this.

I'm passing that info along to friends who have passes. We're visiting them in Dec and I guess it'll be the same for MVMCP. Any guesses on what time you can get there without paying?

thanks for the info. We are going on the 21st. We have APs so I guess we will get there around 3 or 4.

Here's a game-plan,,,,Its free to park in DTD correct?. So why not just drive to DTD, park, take a Disney shuttle (which is free btw) to the MK. Then you enjoy your night and then take the shuttle bus back to DTD, get in your car and wala,,,TOTALLY FREE parking,,,,ºOº

Except that to try and prevent this Disney made it so that no buses at DTD go to parks. They only go to resorts.

OK,,,Back-up plan,,,lol,,,Get to DTD early, Take shuttle to resort, then to MK, enjoy the day, then back to resort, then back to DTD,,,hows that? ºOº

This is not a new policy. Passholders have always had to pay for special hard ticketed events, Howevre, if you are a passholder and attending the event, just arrive early , say 5 pm and flash your ap to gain entrance and you will be ok.

::yes:: Just get there before the official start time of the party, before 7:00p. :thumbsup2

That is what we are going to do. We were planning to get there early anyway.
