Parking Fee for reservations made before March 21st.

Also I am editing to add - guest parking access is now only via magic band operated gating. So they definitely know who is going into the lot, at least here at CSR
How do people get in that are simply day visitors or there for dinner- thus they don’t have a magic band?

At CSR the parking for the main building is accessed via crossing through the guarded gate - so as Dansdad indicated, you just show your ID. Parking for the other buildings is accessed via a non-guarded gate that opens with magic bands (or I assume also a door key card).

And this set up is unique to CSR. No other resort has this particular set up. Once you are past the main gate, all other resorts that have parking lots at individual buildings are fully accessible.

Not sure if everyone already knows this, but the date of the reservation is encoded right into the reservation number. The first two digits are the year (1971 = 01, 1972 = 02, 2017 = 47, 2018 = 48) and the next three digits are the day of the year. (1/1 = 001, 12/31 = 365 most of the time, . . . ) So if the first five digits of the reservation number are 48079 or less, that's the magic number.

Ok I'm a bit confused. My dining reservations do begin with 47 or 48, but my resort confirmation (which has been the same number since December) starts with a 1?

That's a new one on me. Did you perhaps make it through something other than the "usual" channels? Does this odd number show up when you view your reservation on MyDEx?

I made the reservation normally online. It shows up as my confirmation number on both MyDEx, every email I've received when I've made a payment, and it's the number I have used when calling with a question. It doesn't look anything like the numbers you have described.

yeah we have a res. made thru a 3rd party TA, it starts with a 9 so that doesn't help us with the number, it was made back in Nov.- I'm hoping there are no issues with parking and fees when we go.

Our package confirmation number does not follow the same format as our room only confirmation number and both were made on the Disney site last June. The package starts with a 1 and is only 8 numbers in length and the room only starts with 47 and is 12 numbers in length. So it appears this rule only applies to room only reservations. Good to know how that number breaks down though.

Our dining reservations all start with 47 or 48 depending on when we made them of course.

Thank you for solving the mystery. Never knew that.
I'll bet one can similarly decode the number. If you remember the day the reservation was booked and translate that into a day of the year, we can look to see if those digits appear anywhere in the confirmation.
