Asking for suggestions. We rent 2 EVCs and wanted to know if we stay in a studio at the Boardwalk where can we park the 2nd EVC at nighttime?

I know folks are able to fit 2 ECVs in the value resort rooms, so I'm sure it will fit in a BWV studio. You may need to shift some furniture (table, chairs).

How many people are in your party and will you be using one, two, or three beds?

If only using one bed, you should be able to park them easily, with one next to the balcony door and the other next to it.

If using two beds it’s tighter, but I think you could probably get them to fit in front of the tv area. Since the table is attached to the cabinet, it’s not as easy to move furniture around as it was when the table was separate.

If you need all three beds, it will be very tight. It may depend on the size of the ECV whether you can get them both in.

Keep in mind that you will need to park them somewhere near an electric outlet for charging at night.

You should not park them in the hallway outside your door as they become a hazard if there is an evacuation.

We only had one, and used two beds, so we parked it at the end of the bed near the balcony door, facing into the room for easier departure in the morning.

Strange thing happened to me last month at Grand Flo. I was connecting the plugs to charge ECV outside our room as a CM walked by, smiled and said, “Yes you can charge the scooter there.” I had only looked his way as he approached and smiled. No question asked and it wasn’t even on my mind because we had already been told many times to charge the scooter outside the room overnight if we wanted and never otherwise. So it was interesting he took it upon himself to answer the question just in case I was about to ask. Reading this board made that memory make more sense.

In a way, that doesn't surprise me at the Grand Floridian. When I was there, the CM who brought my luggage was very aggressive, I thought, about wanting me to plug it in and charge it outside the room. He asked me 2-3 times, then just before he left, "Would you like me to take your scooter out and plug it in for you? I'd be happy to do it!" I guess that was his last ditch effort and he looked disappointed when it didn't work.

You know that you mention it like that, there have been other times where I felt they were discouraging me from bringing the ECV inside the room. Nothing rude and always kind, just kind of trying to persuade. Many times.

Lewis, As a DVC owner I know not to park in the hallway. I haven’t been in a studio only1&2 bedroom villas so no need to be rude with your answer
My post wasn't just directed to you. Inevitably posters in these threads insist it's OK to leave a scooter in the hall. Some claim they were told it's OK.
Most halls aren't wide enough to allow other scooters or housekeeping carts easy passage. There are issues if evacuation due fire or smoke is necessary. Other guests have been known to unplug and even move scooters parked in the hall.
