Parking ECVs at the parks

DH finally agreed to renting an ECV during our trip. He would like to know if there is any special area outside the attractions to park it? He would prefer to not take it through a line. He needs the ECV cause he can't walk very far. He plans on getting a GAC to avoid standing in a long line.

Depends on the ride, each is different..

Normally if there is a stamina or mobiility issue involved there is no GAC stamp given, but a recommendation that the person use a wheelchair or an ECV.

You might want to look at the "disABILITIES! FAQ" on the sections concerning GACs and ECVs. He might be better off renting from off-site as those ECVs are better (much more manuverable) than the Disney ones and available all the time.

Some of the lines are very long, but not obvious from outside. Almost all of the lines are "mainstreamed" and are designed to take the wheelchair or ECV through the queue. Depending on the attraction the ECV will either be where you left it or will be moved to the exit end.

As far as restaurants, you can either park in the reception area or leave it outside in stroller parking. Just be sure to remove the key and don't leave anything is the basket you would be unwilling to lose.
