Parking @ Contemporary for brunch

Has anyone had an issue parking here with a brunch reservation? I’ve read they can be very strict with parking here, which makes sense. We have a reservation for Christmas Eve and are nervous that we will be turned away.

If you have a brunch reservation at California Grill, Disney's website says you get free valet parking. "For your convenience, complimentary valet parking is available for this event."

Generally speaking, every time we have had reservations to dine at the Contemporary, the guard has always allowed us to park.

We just went to the brunch last Sunday and they asked us at check in if we had valet parked so they could validate. We hadn't but it is obviously allowed.

We parked for brunch last year and had no issue with the guard getting to the hotel. I was told by the attendant that parking was good for the entire day. So that's what we did and walked to MK.

We eat at GF every Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and as long as you have a confirmed ADR (they scan our Magic Band and sometimes ask for ID as well) they have always let us in to park without a problem. However, we went to the Yacht Club to wander about the hotels to see the decorations and grab a treat but the security guard said at that time of year parking was strictly for guests only so we had to leave. Having an ADR should get you in though.

We tried to go see Fort Wilderness this trip and were told the parking lot was too full for anyone except guests. I asked how we were supposed to know if we want to stay there and were told to look online. But we could go look around at the Four Seasons with no problem. Go figure.

Valet is valid all day, but self parking should have been limited.

We tried to go see Fort Wilderness this trip and were told the parking lot was too full for anyone except guests. I asked how we were supposed to know if we want to stay there and were told to look online. But we could go look around at the Four Seasons with no problem. Go figure.

Just checking, did you mean the Wilderness Lodge? I have never seen the parking lot full at Ft Wilderness campground, since people who camp there or rent cabins can park at the sites.

FW can have a "full" parking lot during the holiday season at certain times. We usually stay in the cabins at Christmas. The large RV campers sometimes have to park their trailers, etc. in overflow lots. Some people bring multiple cars (like the haul with a huge truck and have a smaller car to drive around) and golf carts. Then you have the people driving in to eat at Trails End, go to Mickey's Backyard BBQ and the Hoop Dee Doo Review, or on a carriage ride. Plus locals try to get in to see the holiday light displays that the RVs put on.

Just checking, did you mean the Wilderness Lodge? I have never seen the parking lot full at Ft Wilderness campground, since people who camp there or rent cabins can park at the sites.

We were trying to see Ft. Wilderness, not Wilderness Lodge. THere was a sign at Wilderness Lodge the day before when we toured Copper Creek saying parking was limited but we had no issues. But got turned away at the gate the following day at Ft. Wilderness in mid_October. Odd time of year.
