Sorry to resurrect an older thread, but I have a question about this. We are staying off site and have reservations for Chef Mickey's at 5 pm. As we will have just flown in that morn, we had no real plans other than to eat and head over to MK for the atmosphere. I had every intention of doing the parking lot, tram, monorail thing. That is, until I read that if you valet park at the Contemporary, you can park as long as wanted (a.k.a. more than 3 hours). Is that true? Then, we could walk to MK. And, if we decided to stay and see the parade and fireworks, we could walk back to The Contemporary--avoiding the ferry/monorail craziness.
It almost sounds too good to be true. I know valet parking would be a bit more than MK parking due to the tip. But, I do not want to do that if there is even the remotest possibility my car would be towed--I would be the one person it would happen to.
Thanks
