I don't know what I do wrong but I often have trouble using my key to open the gate next to the guard shack at BWV. I try inserting it fast, slow, smooth, with a quick jerk, but sometimes it just won't work. So I just show my key at the guard shack and avoid the hassle. If more gates are installed I guess that I will need to go to an inservice training on how to operate them.

you aren't the only one with that problem.

the only gates that work for me are Pop. and never sure it was my key or the guard opening the ones at Pop.

also all these key things are done for vans - so people in cars have to open doors and do other things.

they really need to fix them differently if they are putting them in area without a guard nearby.

She's talking about the second guard at the blue lot when the main blue lot entrance is blocked. You have to go around to the side (yellow dot), there's a guard there checking to be sure you are a resort guest. I think the keyed gate is a great idea.

I think the keyed gate is a good idea as well.

Those not staying at the resort should always have been directed across the street for self parking. There are other ways to handle entry than having a guard, HH does it without a guard as do many other places and still have reasonable security. Maybe a guard is best, but there are other options.

Swipe card readers are everywhere and each seems to have its own personality so I try different combinations until one of us gives in
